Isloch vs. Belshina Bobruisk Betting Preview With Pick – Belarusian Premier League, May 10

Belshina attempts to win a game at the eighth time of trying this season and haul itself off of the bottom of the table as it travels to Minsk to take on Isloch.

Both these sides were on the end of thumping defeats last weekend and will be keen to pick up some more points.

The BetOnline sportsbook makes Isloch odds on to take all three points here, and there are not many that would argue with that assessment. Belshina has really struggled to get going in the top flight this season after winning the second tier last year. Isloch may have lost heavily last time out, but there would seem to be little chance of that happening again on Sunday.

Isloch made the mistake of going out purely for the draw away at Shakhtyor last week, and that plan severely backfired, as it was thrashed 4-0 by last season’s cup winners. There is no doubt that manager Vitaly Zhukovsky would have changed tactics for the visit of Belshina anyway, but we can probably expect a much more attacking Isloch team this weekend.

Isloch has tended to beat the weaker teams in the league while falling to the more accomplished clubs this season. That would suggest that a fairly routine home win should be expected here.

Belshina, on the other hand, will just be desperate for any point — or points — it can manage to pick up. The Bobruisk club is yet to win a single game this year and was soundly beaten last weekend at home by a Dynamo Brest side that had obviously been patiently waiting for an opportunity to play one of the teams at the foot of the table.

That’s six goals conceded in the last two games for Belshina now. Whereas the defeats had at least been fairly close affairs earlier in the season, it is starting to get blown away by opponents, and that doesn’t bode well for this fixture.

This looks like a really good opportunity for Isloch to put some pressure on the teams around it in the league, as a home win would seem virtually assured. Belshina has only managed to score more than one goal on one occasion this year so far and is conceding at a rate of nearly two a game. I would not be surprised if Isloch is able to up that average on Sunday.
