Looking to bet on Anthony Smith vs. Glover Teixeira? Well, the good news is I can help you with that as I have some odds, top bets, sleepers, and recommended betting sites for you to get your hands on.

UFC on ESPN 9 goes down in Jacksonville this coming Wednesday, May 13. It will be the second of three events the promotion is staging in the matter of just a week and comes packed with big fights.

Aside from the headliner between Smith and Teixeira, we will see Ovince Saint Preux moving up to heavyweight to challenge Ben Rothwell. Alexander Hernandez squares off against Drew Dober in a lightweight clash to savor, while Ray Borg will be looking to wipe the smile off the face of Ricky Simon at 135 pounds.

Anyway, you’ll learn everything you need to know about how and where to bet on UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira below. So get reading!

Where to Bet on UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira

In order to bet on UFC on ESPN 9 online, the first thing you are going to need is an account with a betting site.

Now, you can do one of two things — completely pick one out at random and hope they are legit or trust the experts over on our recommended UFC betting sites page.

Personally, I would suggest the latter. I could explain why to you right now, but you can learn everything you need to know about choosing a top betting site on that page. If you don’t already have an account with a bookmaker — or have grown tired of the site you are currently betting with — check it out!

The odds above are available on the Bovada sportsbook. Remember that they are subject to change.

The vast majority of these fights are very close, and that is reflected in the odds. Only Eubanks vs. Moras has a significant gulf in prices, but that is not to say that the fight is a foregone conclusion.

The greatest thing about betting on UFC fights is that, while the better fighter usually prevails, we tend to see surprises, just like any sport. While long odds hunters enjoy backing the underdogs, it’s not always a good idea to base your predictions on the size of odds.

However, there is always scope to pick out value bets. In fact, I have a few sleepers below that might take your fancy. But before we go there, check out the entirety of my UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira predictions, as well as my best bets for the card.

UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira Predictions

  • Smith to Beat Teixeira by KO/TKO
  • Rothwell to Beat Saint Preux by KO/TKO
  • Hernandez to Beat Dober by Submission
  • Simon to Beat Borg by Decision
  • Vettori to Beat Roberson by Decision
  • Arlovski to Beat Lins by Decision
  • Johnson to Beat Moises by KO/TKO
  • Eubanks to Beat Moras by Decision
  • Kelleher to Beat Azure by Submission

These are my predictions for the night. I have dedicated a piece to my UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira predictions that you can take a look at if you are unsure of any of the picks above.

Given that the majority of these fights are true pick ’ems, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that you are making a few of the opposite choices. But why not give that piece a read anyway and see if my analysis convinces you to think twice about who to bet on?

Best Bets for UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira

  • Smith to Beat Teixeira
  • Rothwell to Beat Saint Preux
  • Hernandez to Beat Dober
  • Simon to Beat Borg

Although unusual, I found myself picking four wins on the moneyline as my best bets for UFC on ESPN 9.

But that’s not a bad thing at all. As I said earlier, most of these fights are 50/50s, making moneyline bets a decent choice. You can get some solid odds on all four guys winning their fights, too.

If these odds don’t appeal to you for whatever reason, skip to the next section.

UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira Sleepers/Value Bets

  • Arlovski to Beat Lins by Decision
  • Johnson to Beat Moises by KO/TKO
  • Kelleher to Beat Azure by Submission

Arlovski, Johnson, and Kelleher are the consensus underdogs in these fights.

But as I explained in my UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira value bets, there is real value in backing them all to come through as winners. So give that piece a read for a breakdown on why I think these value bets could work out!

Wrap Up

UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira is going to be up there with the best secondary event cards we’ll see for quite some time.

I’m expecting most, if not all, of the fights to produce the goods on the night. Sure, it might be a little strange watching these bouts without the presence of a bustling crowd, but meh — we’ll get used to it.

Enjoy the fights!
