How and Where to Bet on UFC 257

UFC 257 McGregor vs. Poirier 2

UFC 257. January 23, 2020. Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier 2. What more could you ask for from Santa Claus and the gang?

Well, other than making a bit of money betting on the McGregor vs. Poirier rematch, there’s not a lot else. This is THE biggest fight of 2021 and it is sure to be huge. I can’t fly a sleigh like Santa, but what I can do is tell you everything you need to you about how and where to bet on UFC 257.

Fights of this magnitude do not come along every weekend. As such, you can expect tons of bets on McGregor to beat Poirier, and a steady flow of wagers on Poirier to beat McGregor, too. It’s going to be insane, regardless of your allegiances.

I’m looking for the point in hanging about when we can get down to the good stuff, and I can’t find one. So, without any further delay, let’s start with the top betting sites for UFC 257 and go from there.

Where to Bet on UFC 257 Online

The obvious place to start is with the best sites for betting on UFC 257.

In my opinion, some sportsbooks tend to be on the ball more than others when it comes to providing top odds for UFC fights as well as a wide range of markets to bet on. These sites are typically the ones you would class as 100% safe, secure, and legal, too.

Of all the UFC 257 betting markets out there, it’s obvious that McGregor vs. Poirier will attract the most bets. Even the lamest sites floating on the interweb are going to offer odds for the main event. But I don’t just want that. I also want to see great markets for some of the other fights on the card.

When I find multiple betting markets that aren’t entirely focused on the top-billed scrap, even if it is the biggest fight in 2021, that tells me that they are doing something right.

More than this, if they offer bonuses for UFC 257 fights or any MMA bouts for that matter, it shows that there is a lot of effort that has gone into providing you with a great all-round betting experience.

Before I proceed, I’ll just recap a few things to look for when choosing a great MMA betting site.

  • A safe, secure, and trustworthy site that is legal to use
  • Fully licensed by a reputable authority
  • Great odds and markets for UFC bouts
  • Solid bonuses and rewards

We have covered where to bet on UFC 257, so let’s now move on to details about the main event of the evening.

UFC 257 Main Event – McGregor vs. Poirier 2

Hyperbole is the enemy of any writer. As such, I’m going to sidestep any temptation to oversell this fight when I don’t have to.

I promise to keep my excitement under lock and key until my butt hits the couch and Bruce Buffer declares “It’s… time!” for the UFC 257 main event. So, I won’t say anything to give away the fact that I am stoked for this one. I won’t even engage when a friend asks what time is McGregor vs. Poirier, or any other silly questions. I will stay mute and pretend I didn’t hear them speak.

But here’s the thing — this fight IS going to be awesome. And as such, I am going to be excited about my McGregor vs. Poirier rematch bets just as much as I am for the scrap itself.

Sure, I’ll have a choice to make about where to watch McGregor vs. Poirier 2. In fact, I’ll probably just turn my phone off and ignore everyone in favor of watching the fight alone. Like all true fights geeks do.

My dog could be playing Hendrix on my SG while aliens descend on my front lawn and, I promise you this, my eyes will NOT move away from the screen for one minute when Conor and Dustin go at it.

Why? Well, this is a rematch over six years in the making between two of the best lightweights on planet earth. And that’s all I’m saying right here.

But, if you want to read more about the fight, there’s a full betting guide I’ve left for you to check out above.

When and Where is UFC 257?

  • Venue: Fight Island, Abu Dhabi
  • When: January 23, 2021
  • Is This a Title Fight?: This will be a five-round UFC main event with no belt on the line

Yas Island, Abu Dhabi (known best as “Fight Island” to fans) is confirmed as the venue for UFC 257.

It was always on the cards that Dana White and the UFC would look to host McGregor vs. Poirier 2 here, and I’m not surprised in the slightest by the news.

There is nothing to suggest that an interim title will be on the line on the night.
