HAVU vs. MIBR Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 12th – Flashpoint Season 1

The inaugural season of Flashpoint is about to end soon and the pressure is building. We have only six teams left in the competition and they all will be hoping to win the tournament and collect the $500,000 prize for the top spot.

My HAVU vs. MIBR betting preview is focused on the second semifinal in the upper bracket. I present the latest odds for this one and share my expectations for what both teams can offer. I wrap it all up with a prediction and betting pick.

I really like HAVU’s progression so far in Flashpoint Season 1. The team had a somewhat decent start in the first phase of the group stage and then improved in the second one, winning its group without losing a single map.

The performance was enough to collect 125 points and earn the third seed for the playoffs. HAVU continued the good form and smashed Chaos in the first round of the playoffs.

However, the next opponent is much stronger and the team will have to be careful against MIBR.

I’m not sure what to think about MIBR. The Brazilian team struggled to perform in the ESL Pro League NA, but Flashpoint has been another story. The squad won both groups in the previous stage and while it wasn’t always pretty, MIBR did an excellent job at the end.

The same can be said about the first match from the knockout stages. The 2-1 against Orgless was far from convincing, but MIBR did prevail comprehensively on two of the maps.

It feels like the team is not at its best right now, but close enough to beat most opponents in Flashpoint Season 1.

It’s hard to make a prediction about the winner of this clash. HAVU has a lot of momentum, but MIBR is the better team on paper. I think it will be a close match and my best betting pick would be to for over 2.5 maps.

I don’t expect any of the teams to close this fight cleanly, so the price of +104 looks like an excellent value bet.
