HAVU vs. Cloud9 Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 14th – Flashpoint Season 1
Tuesday’s schedule of the CS:GO Flashpoint event will see HAVU take on Cloud9. The teams have had a very positive experience during the inaugural edition of the tournament but one of them will have to exit now that they are both in the lower bracket.
This HAVU vs. Cloud9 betting preview for today includes a look at the betting odds for the tie and also shares a brief analysis of both teams on which I base my prediction.
I offer a free betting pick in the end so make sure you stick around. Let’s start with the odds.

HAVU already defeated Cloud9 in their previous Flashpoint matchup and enters today’s tie as the heavy favorite. Can the Americans defy the odds and book a place in the lower bracket final?
Let’s move on to the analysis and I will try to answer this question with my prediction afterward.
The team’s run of four straight 2:0 wins was ended by MIBR in the upper playoff bracket. And while the Finns will surely be disappointed by the result, the loss will serve as a good lesson.
They started the tie brilliantly and took a win on Inferno but their concentration went down in the remaining rounds.
As we all expected, they had no problems overcoming Gen.G despite the Americans taking the first round after a long tiebreak. The performance showcased the team’s ability to bounce back quickly and this bodes well for their chances here.
Captain sAw will once again rely on the great chemistry and his ace marksmen ZOREE and sLowi to keep the team going in the tournament.
The Cloud9 boys were really close to winning a round against MAD Lions which would’ve handed them a chance to snatch the serirs on Overpass but it wasn’t to be.
The loss definitely rattled JT and company since they were not in top form against lowly Orgless. They allowed their opponent to clinch the first map and to win a further 21 rounds in the remaining legs.
I was definitely expecting a more dominant performance but even with the recent shaky displays, the Cloud remains one of the most dangerous teams in the tournament and it’s no surprise they have made it this far.
HAVU will be a very big challenge and a lot will depend on the kill count that floppy and motm will be able to rack up.
HAVU vs. Cloud9 Prediction and Pick
Both teams have great chemistry and a couple of elite marksmen, however, I do believe that HAVU will have a comfortable outing here. The team has been more consistent and showed that they are very close to challenging MIBR and MAD Lions for the title.
They already beat Cloud9 2:0 in the earlier stages and I can’t see why that can’t do it again.
JT and his team looked a bit jaded against Orgless and have not been as successful at challenging the top favorites. I think the defeat against MAD Lions took away a lot of the team’s confidence and HAVU will have a psychological advantage.
Let’s go with the Under market here since it both covers a comfortable win for the Finns as well as the unlikely scenario of floppy and motm outgunning their opponents in two rounds.
