HAVU vs. Chaos Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 10th – Flashpoint Season 1
Today will see the conclusion of the quarter-final stage of the CS:GO Flashpoint event with two exciting ties taking place and some great betting opportunities on the table.
One of the matchups pins Finnish outfit HAVU against Americans Chaos. The teams still haven’t met at the tournament itself but did cross paths in the qualifiers. However, the stakes are much higher now so anything is possible.
This HAVU vs. Chaos betting preview brings you the main betting markets and a brief overview of both teams’ recent form. Afterward, I share my prediction and offer a free betting pick in the end.
HAVU vs. Chaos Odds
The odds below are taken from BetOnline. Their sportsbook has been one of the best places to get CS:GO wagers in and they have again provided great odds for this tie. Here is how things are looking:
HAVU’s recent form at the event makes them the overwhelming favorite but can Chaos salvage anything here? Let’s look at the teams and try to figure out.
HAVU Current Form
The Finnish organization has been explosive since the start of the tournament. They racked up some solid displays in Phase 1 but improved even further as the event went on.
Phase 2 saw them collect 75 points and finish in 3rd spot which guaranteed them a nice seeding in the playoff bracket.
Captain sAw has been an excellent leader so far and players ZOREE and sWoli boast some of the best stats among all teams.
The group will be high on confidence after a great performance against Cloud9 in Group A’s grand final. They swept one of the big favorites after clinching a crucial tiebreak in the first round and completely outplaying them on Mirage in the second.
Things are looking great in the HAVU camp and it’s no surprises that they are the heavy favorite here.
Chaos Current Form
The Americans crumbled in Stage 2 and managed to win only one round. However, their great form at the start of the tournament allowed them to squeeze into the playoffs.
The team managed to beat both Gen.G and MIBR in Stage 1 and although they couldn’t keep up that form, these two victories will give them hope they can turn things around against HAVU.
A big performance will be needed from captain and best player steel and headshot specialist SicK.
Progressing through the lower bracket is a definite possibility for the team but they will want to put a good performance in after throwing the towel early in Phase 2.
HAVU vs. Chaos Prediction and Pick
There is every reason to believe that HAVU will be dominating this one. They are on a roll and bested Chaos when the two last met in the qualifiers.
They have had much better traction while the Americans exited Phase 2 and haven’t played a Flashpoint game in a while.
They did beat two great teams at the start but have absolutely no momentum going into this quarter-final. Also, seeing how HAVU dispatched Cloud9 on Mirage, I’m not sure that Chaos will have an easy time on their favorite map if it’s picked.
The +104 price for a comprehensive HAVU win is hard to pass on in these circumstances, so I’m going all-in on the favorites here.
