The squad started brilliantly as they overcame a five-round deficit to clinch the win on Dust II which paved the way for their marksmen to decimate EG on Train.

They got blasted by the high-flying 100 Thieves but we have to say that the first round was highly competitive and The Cloud could’ve easily snatched the tiebreak if they had shown a bit more resilience.

Now, they will be looking to main men JT and floppy to replicate their form against EG and enter the playoffs on a high.

Both teams will be going to the playoffs but make no mistake – nobody will treat this as an exhibition match.

Gen.G will be kicking themselves for not showing up against 100 Thieves and daps is not one to take any CS:GO tie lightly.

The same goes for Cloud9 and I expect to see both teams come out with all guns blazing.

I feel Gen.G’s tactical approach will probably slow down the game but their opponent knows all about this.

The Cloud has a slight advantage in the head-to-head department but they are prone to starting slowly and this is very dangerous if daps can get his troops to execute the plan well from the get-go.

It’s really hard to predict who will win this so I’m more inclined to go for a three-round game. The bouts between these two are usually very tight and I have every reason to believe we’re in for another closely-fought battle.
