Free Soccer Picks From Top European Leagues and Other Competitions for January 24-26

It’s time for my weekly post of the best soccer bets for the upcoming weekend. As always, I went through the odds of the best betting sites online and explored various soccer leagues.
The top European competitions were my main priority, but I always check more obscure tournaments as well. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the top soccer wagers for Jan. 24-26.
Espanyol vs. Athletic Bilbao Odds and Predictions
The first game I really like is from the Spanish La Liga. On the surface, the momentum is on Espanyol’s side. The team earned a precious point against Barcelona and won against Villarreal away from home in the last two La Liga games.
The four points earned provide a huge boost to Espanyol’s survival hopes, but the team is still in the last position. There’s a lot more work to do by the end of the season, starting this Saturday.
The side will host Athletic Bilbao, which is without a victory in six games in a row. That’s a long streak, but I think that the Basques have been slightly unlucky.
They missed a number of chances against Celta last week, while two of the matches from that winless period came against Real Madrid and Sevilla. On both occasions, the team didn’t lose.
I think that Athletic Bilbao is suffering from low confidence and lack of luck right now. And yet, the side is still better than Espanyol, and the odds for the visitors are too high.
Going after a straight away win is probably too adventurous, so I will pick the Athletic Bilbao PK option. You can get +123 or a similar price with most bookmakers, and that’s great value.

Borussia Dortmund vs. Koln Odds and Predictions
Next in line is the German Bundesliga and the clash between Borussia Dortmund and Koln. The home side is the big favorite here for a number of reasons, and the whole crowd will be excited to witness Erling Haaland’s home debut.
The youngster started his career in Dortmund with three goals in 23 minutes, and it’s impossible not to be hyped about his future with the club.
The problem is that Borussia Dortmund already had one of the most prolific attacks in the Bundesliga. The main issues of the side are in defense, and the game against Augsburg proved that they will still haunt the club this season.
Borussia conceded three goals and looked doomed before Haaland showed up. That could be extremely costly against Koln in the upcoming round.
The visitors have won four consecutive games in the Bundesliga, and they have been scoring for fun over that stretch. I expect them to create plenty of chances on Friday too.
That’s why I’m not sure I can trust Borussia Dortmund to win this match, and I’m not tempted by the spread or the moneyline. The total goals market is another story, though. The line of 3.5 is high, but both sides can go rampant here.
I won’t be shocked if we see five or six goals in this match. That’s why the price of -106 for over 3.5 looks like excellent value, and this is my final pick.

Over 3.5 Goals-106
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. RB Leipzig Odds and Predictions
There’s little doubt that the only team that can stop Bayern Munich this year is RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga leaders are only four points ahead of the reigning champions but are in strong form.
They won seven of the previous eight Bundesliga games and drew the last one against Borussia Dortmund away.
The side looks unstoppable right now, and it has the strongest attack in the competition. The defense is also solid, and the confidence of RB Leipzig is high.
You could see that in the match against Union Berlin at home, which was the first after the winter break. The visitors took a surprise lead in the 10th minute, but RB Leipzig didn’t tremble. Instead, the team dispatched the opposition methodically to win 3-1.
Next in line is the visit to Eintracht Frankfurt, and this is one of the most inconsistent teams in Germany. The home form of the side is especially poor, as Eintracht’s last victory at home came at the start of November.
Granted, it was a 5-2 victory against Bayern Munich, but that was the game that cost Niko Kovac his job as head coach of the Bavarians.
I believe that the visitors should comfortably win this match, and the price of -131 for the away win is actually quite appealing.

Final Words
As you can see, this week is mainly focused on some of the top European soccer leagues. I was interested in several other bets from less popular competitions but opted against them at the end. If you have your own ideas you would like to share, feel free to do it in the comments section below.
