I like the third-favored (7/2) filly in this race: Emma’s a Beast, with Juan J. Hernandez in the irons. This filly has moneyed four times in her six career starts, with two of those wins. That, along with the pole position and the winningest jockey in this race aboard, makes it hard to see any other outcome but a happy one.

I see some other potential winners in this race, but their odds simply aren’t high enough to make the wager worth the risk.

I’m sticking with the 7/5 favorite in this race, Sadie Bluegrass, with Ricardo Gonzalez in the irons.  This filly only has four career starts, but she finished in the money for three of them—and two were wins. Expect this race to be tight.

Zelaia at 10/1 is slightly undervalued. This filly moneyed in three of her six career starts, with one win. Her pilot this race is Frank Alvarado, who has the chops to make another win happen.

I like the 3/1 favorite in this race—Princess Ashlyn with veteran jockey Ricardo Gonzalez aboard. This eight-year-old mare has a very respectable record: 21 money finishes (nine of them wins) in 35 career starts. Expect some strong competition from Brilliant Bird, ridden by Juan J. Hernandez.

None of the longer odds entries are worth the risk.
