I agree with the moneyline in this race—it’s Keena at 5/2, with Ry Eikleberry aboard. Keena has moneyed in nine of her 12 career starts, and that outside post position should be no hindrance.

Jockey Jason Eads has not been having a good 2020 (unlike the rest of us, eh?), but his mount for this race, Polly Tiz, has a very good record in comparison to her competition—eleven career starts with eight money finishes. At 6/1, I believe Polly Tiz might be a good investment.

The moneyline odds may not suggest it, but this could turn out to be the most hotly contested race of the day. Match a bunch of winning jockeys with an equal number of winning horses, and you’ve got what many of us would call “a horse race.” I’m going with Drip Brew at 3/1, with Floyd Wethey Jr. aboard. Drip Brew has a better money-finish record as well as a slightly better win percentage than the 5/2 favorite in this race, Tee Em Eye, ridden by Leandro Goncalves.

Ransomed, at 12/1, is my longshot for this race. Solid record of 18 money finishes in 27 starts, with eight of those wins. With Ken Tohill aboard and a near-pole position to start, it could happen.

In fifteen starts, the 5/2 favorite in this race, Oil Money, has a good record of money finishes, but it is the slightly less favored horse at 3/1—Lawton, ridden by David Cabrera—that I’m picking to win. Lawton’s career starts are impressive: 25 starts, 19 finishes in the money, five of which were wins.

Speaking of unheralded but solid records, let’s go with the 12/1 longshot Recount, ridden by Ken Tohill. Recount has 49 career starts, 31 in the money, and 14 of which were wins.
