FaZe vs. Virtus.pro Odds, Prediction, and Pick for March 30th – ESL Pro League Europe
The ESL Pro League continues this week with CS:GO matchups in every region. The European division has seen some great duels in both Group A and Group B and it’s now time to settle matters in Group C.
OG and G2 Esports have separated from the pack early on, while TYLOO looks doomed at the bottom. However, three teams are still in with a chance to catch the leaders and two of them will be playing each other today.
My FaZe vs. Virtus.pro betting preview for Monday includes a look at the betting odds on offer and my prediction based on the organizations’ recent form.
But before I go into my analysis and betting pick, let us first check out what the top esports betting sites have prepared.
FaZe vs. Virtus.pro Odds
I have selected three of the main betting markets for the duel courtesy of SportsBetting. Here is how things stand:
Total Maps Played
As you can see, FaZe are the overwhelming favorite here. Given the recent exploits of both teams and their current standing, you shouldn’t be surprised. Virtus.pro will need a top performance if they are to salvage anything here.
The team started the ESL Pro League with an expected 2:0 win over TYLOO, but have so far failed the real test. They had to go up against two of the favorites in G2 and mousesports and lost both of those ties.
I was really curious to see how the team will perform in those games as they have threatening to enter the Top 5 for quite some time now. Although they managed to win a map in both their recent losses, the games did show that the organization still has some work to do in order to join the elite.
What will give them confidence for the upcoming matchup is the fact that they have been quite solid against lesser teams and Virtus.pro is definitely one of them.
The Kazakhstani organization hasn’t played in an official tournament since February. And when they did compete, they didn’t exactly impress. Before their March hiatus, the team racked up four consecutive losses.
They fell to mousesports and GODSENT at the GG.BET event and lost to Team Liquid and MAD Lions at the Intel Extreme Masters.
Now, after a month of inactivity, they will have to face a team that has been playing top opposition and working hard on improving.
You always have a chance with an experienced player with AdreN in the lineup, but things are definitely not looking too bright for Virtus.pro here.
FaZe vs. Virtus.pro Prediction and Pick
Everything points to a comprehensive win for FaZe. At this level, teams always have a chance of springing a surprise, but I just can’t see it happening here.
Virtus.pro has been down and out, while FaZe has continued to climb the rankings and the team wins almost every game against lesser opposition. They still struggle the crack the real elite, but Virtus.pro is far from that status.
Besides, FaZe has a huge advantage on almost every map, so this could be over before we know it. Since the odds for the match winner market are simply too short, I’m backing the favorites to get the job done in two maps.
We have betting previews for a few other esports matches taking place today, too. Here’s the full list.
