FaZe vs. OG Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 9th – ESL Pro League Season 11, Europe
It’s the end of the road for both FaZe and OG in the ESL Pro League. The teams couldn’t overcome the odds and reach the playoff stage but that doesn’t mean that we can’t make some money out of their final matchup.
This FaZe vs. OG betting preview takes a look at the odds for the battle of the underdogs. I then provide a brief account of their recent exploits, some key stats and conclude with my betting pick.
FaZe vs. OG Odds
Betway has once again rolled out some tasty markets for us to consider. Here are the main options:
There are also a bunch of map and team-orientated options so if you’re looking at alternative ways to approach this, you can check the sportsbook for the full range.
FaZe – Going Out With a Bang?
The team never really got to grips with the rigors of Stage 2 and lost all four of their matchups so far. Things could’ve been very different but their inability to perform in the clutch robbed them of the chance of winning against the big favorites.
The team does possess great individual quality and despite losing the chance to enter the playoffs, they will surely be looking to wrap up their involvement in the ESL Pro League with a good win against the lower-ranked OG.
OG – Can They Defy the Odds?
Watching Aleksib and his team try to navigate Stage 2 was a real pleasure. Despite losing three games, their tactical approach was something to behold and the win against current group leaders Fnatic was a huge achievement.
They could’ve done a bit better against mousesports and Astralis but it wasn’t also the best time to face these teams and inexperience at this level definitely played a big part in their downfall.
Still, they are in better shape than FaZe and their 16-7 round win against Natus Vincere proves they can challenge anyone.
FaZe vs. OG Betting Pick
FaZe did win 2:0 against today’s opponents in Stage 1 but OG was still finding their feet at this level. Aleksib, NBK-, and mantuu have since grown in confidence immensely and I feel the match will have a very different complexion.
FaZe will definitely fancy their chances but the loss against Natus Vincere yesterday once again showcased the team’s glaring problem of not being able to hold on to leads.
OG’s tactics are bound to frustrate them even further and I don’t think NiKo and his teammates will feel comfortable in this matchup.
Aleksib’s team will want to avoid Nuke and Overpass and if they do, they have a decent chance of edging their opponents.
The price of +140 is great in these circumstances and carries the biggest betting value here.
So, I’m wrapping up my FaZe vs. OG betting preview with this as my betting pick:
