FaZe vs. GODSENT Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick for May 5th – ESL One: Road to Rio
It’s time for another round in the European division of the ESL One: Road to Rio. Group B’s schedule for today will see a top-of-the-table clash between FaZe Clan and GODSENT.
FaZe are flying high right now bu their opponents have also been in good form in this tournament. The organizations haven’t met in a while and it will be very interesting to see how their strategies will work in this tie.
My FaZe vs. GODSENT betting preview for Tuesday brings you the latest betting prices for this matchup and I base my prediction on them, the teams’ recent form, and a couple of key statistics.
Let’s get the ball rolling here.
FaZe vs. GODSENT Odds

I give you the main options below:
Total Maps Played
With the way NiKo and his teammates have been pounding opponents left and right it’s no surprise that the top CS:GO betting sites have all given them a huge advantage.
However, it may be a mistake to quickly dismiss GODSENT.
I move on to my team analysis but be sure to stay until the end where I provide a free betting pick.
The European organization has been by far the best team in this year’s ESL One qualifiers so far. They have met little resistance in Group B and currently hold the top spot with four straight wins.
The 2:0 hammerings of mousesports and G2 have been a particular highlight but we have to acknowledge how well NiKo led his team against underdogs Movistar Riders and North as well.
There’s little doubt that FaZe are the favorites to win today again but they will have to be on their toes if they want to stop an ambitious GODSENT team.
The Swedish squad hasn’t had much luck at the Elisa Invitational event after losing all their three recent ties against Scandinavian outfits ENCE, Apeks, and Dignitas.
However, the format and stakes are very different here and we all know that GODSENT’s focus is on making it to the ESL One: Road to Rio playoff stage.
And their wins against c0ntact, North, and Copenhagen Flames prove that.
Captain kRYSTAL’s tactics will be crucial here and the team will need a big performance from top marksmen STYKO and Maden but I feel they’re in with a chance here.
FaZe vs. GODSENT Prediction and Pick
Teams rarely go through such group stages without a surprising loss and facing GODSENT may prove to be quite uncomfortable for the Clan today.
The Swedes have built up a good momentum in the qualifiers and the pressure will be off against a massive favorite like FaZe.
The organizations haven’t met this season and they have played on very different maps which always gives a certain advantage to the underdogs.
GODSENT will probably want to stay away from Mirage and Inferno but have plenty of opportunities to land a preferred map and I believe they will snatch at least one round here.
NiKo and his guys will still be favorites to clinch the tie but I expect it will be closer than the bookmakers suggest, so I’m going with the great odds for a three-round match.
