They didn’t always look good value to contest the Brazilians but they improved tremendously in the playoffs and despite falling to the Lower Bracket, they managed to navigate to the Grand Final and take down FalleN and his teammates.

Bulgarian CeRq was voted as the Player of the Tournament and is probably the best gunman on the American scene right now, while captain stanislaw was hailed for his tactics after taking a lot of criticism in recent months.

This has completely changed the vibe around the organization and they will definitely feel confident about their chances of going far at the CS_SUMMIT.

The first step will be a very important one so let’s see if EG will be able to replicate the form they have displayed in their recent meetings with FURIA.

The team looks to have run out of a steam a bit and a big reason for that was the back-to-back losses against MIBR at the BLAST Showdown and Finals stages.

The first defeat didn’t rattle arT and his squad too much as they did clinch the DreamHack Masters event but there were signs that the form is dropping.

This culminated in the failure to overcome both MIBR and EG at the BLAST Premier Finals and the team will now be looking to bounce back quickly.

With players like KCSERATO and yuurih, you’re always in with a chance but they will have to improve their aim today if they are to take down the high-flying Evil Geniuses.

It’s always hard to bet against FURIA as on paper, their quality and execution make them one of the most dominant CS:GO forces in the world.

However, they haven’t had much luck against Evil Geniuses as of late. The teams have met four times since October 2019 with EG coming out on top in all of these encounters.

With the way CeRq is playing right now and the overall mood in the squad, I feel we’re in for another EG victory today even if it takes them three maps to topple the Brazilians.
