Best Esports Bets June 17th, 2020

Welcome to today’s edition of my best esports bets!

This Wednesday offers a plethora of betting opportunities for both CS:GO and Dota 2 and my mission is to guide you to where the value lies.

I present the bookmakers for the markets and odds of my choice and share a brief analysis of the upcoming ties.

Let’s kick off my three top esports picks for June 17th with the early clash at the CS:GO Blast Premier European Finals and then proceed with my two Dota picks for today.

ENCE to Win vs. G2

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: BLAST Premier Finals Europe
  • Starting time: 07:30 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +115
  • Where to bet: BetOnline

G2 Esports was thrown down to the losers’ bracket by ZywOo’s Team Vitality and is hanging by a thread at the BLAST Premier Finals.

They were completely outplayed on Inferno and despite a better performance on their map pick Mirage, they were outlasted by their fellow countrymen who continue to improve with every matchup they compete in.

It’s evident that losing the DreamHack Masters Grand Final after going 2:0 up against BIG has left a huge mark on nexa and his teammates and ENCE can take full advantage of that today.

The Finnish side is as solid as ever and their new addition Jamppi has given them even more confidence to tackle the elite teams.

They were close to toppling FaZe yesterday and have shown great determination in the last few months.

This team is still far from challenging for the major honors but can be a real nuisance and G2’s lack of momentum gives you an ideal option to back the underdog and cash in on some great odds.

A more detailed betting preview for the clash is available here.

Team Liquid (-1.5) vs. Team Empire

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: Beyond Epic EU & CIS
  • Starting time: 11:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: -141
  • Where to bet: 10Bet

Team Liquid should have a comfortable outing against the lower-ranked Team Empire at the Beyond Epic event today.

The Liquid boys are playing really well as of late and have implemented some of the forgotten characters with great efficiency.

Their superior drafting strategy and execution coupled with a ruthless approach in the laning phase gives them a huge advantage against lesser teams and they should be able to wrap up this tie quickly.

If you want to learn more about the reasoning behind this prediction, you can check out my colleague’s full Team Liquid vs. Team Empire betting preview for today.

4Zoomers to Win vs. CR4ZY

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: BTS Pro Series Season 2: Americas
  • Starting time: 12:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +380
  • Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag

I conclude my three top esports picks for Wednesday by backing the underdogs 4Zoomers to come away with a win against giants CR4ZY.

The BTS Pro Series has proven to be a happy hunting ground for the Zoomers so far as they have racked up three wins and a draw against the solid Evil Geniuses.

There’s always a chance that CR4ZY can make quick work of them but in these stages of Dota 2 events, there are always a few surprises and the odds of +380 don’t come too often.

And here are the rest of my best esports predictions for today:

  • NiP vs. OG Under 2.5; -132
  • Team Liquid (-1.5) vs. Evil Geniuses; +166

Both these games are on the CS:GO calendar for today and I start off my reasoning with the late matchup in the European bracket of the BLAST Premier Finals.

The Ninjas were gunned down by s1mple and his NAVI crew with relative ease yesterday but they remain one of the in-form teams on the European stage.

Plopski, REZ, and nawwk can beat anyone on their day, and the prospect of crashing out of the tournament that early should give the organization a boost today.

OG failed to topple Complexity Gaming and overall, are not in their best shape right now.

However, I am more inclined to back the Under 2.5 market as despite I expect NiP to wrap this up on two maps, I’m giving the Frenchmen the benefit of the doubt as their captain Aleksib can fire them to an unlikely win if he gets the tactics right on the Ninjas’ map pick.

The market covers both these scenarios and the odds of -132 are more than fair in my view.

And for my last pick, I’m going with a clean sweep for Team Liquid against Evil Geniuses in the American division of the BLAST Premier event.

Captain Stewie2K’s team has improved a lot recently and despite losing heavily to FURIA in the DreamHack Masters final, players EliGE and NAF remain two of the top gunmen on the scene.

The last two meetings ended in a 2:0 victory for the favorites here and I expect a similar scenario to unfold today as Evil Geniuses can be quite inconsistent in these high-stakes games.

I have prepared an individual Team Liquid vs. Evil Geniuses betting preview, so be sure to read it if you want more insight into today’s crunch matchup.

Now, before you go and place your wagers, I feel I need to note how vital it is to find the right bookmaker.

There are a lot of betting sites that offer odds and markets for the esports events but not all of them can provide you with a quality service and decent bonuses.

This is very important for your long-term success, so you shouldn’t be making any compromises on that front.

That is why I recommend you to check out our list of esports bookmakers. They rank very high after a thorough investigation from our team of experts has been made on all the services they provide and can offer you a safe and profitable experience:

That’s it for my top esports bets for Wednesday but if you’re looking to bet on other sports, you can also check out our predictions and picks page where we cover the top events daily and provide the latest odds and detailed reasoning.
