Esports Betting Tips for Wednesday, April 29th – Today’s Picks and Predictions for CS:GO and Dota 2

Yesterday was a feast for any esports fan and the match between Dignitas and fnatic was one of the best CS:GO encounters I’ve seen recently. Dota 2 delivered as well with an epic battle between OG and Alliance in the Pushka League Division 1. I certainly hope you watched at least one of those two, they were well worth it!

Anyway, the ESL One Road to Rio continues on Wednesday, so there will be more CS:GO action on the highest level. I’ve included several matches in my selection of esports betting tips for today and the other game featured in my best esports bets is Dota 2.

One of the unpleasant surprises of the ESL Road to Rio so far has been the abysmal form of mousesports. The team lost twice already and is yet to even win a map. Time is ticking away and another defeat would almost certainly end the squad’s hopes to qualify for Brazil.

The next match represents the perfect opportunity to get back on track, though. Mousesports will face fellow strugglers c0ntact that have failed to impress so far as well. It’s time to see the true face of the favorite and I expect a clean sweep.

The price of -154 for mouz to cover the -1.5 map advantage is solid enough and I view this as one of the best esports bets today.

I don’t really know what’s going on with Dota 2 with all the recent patches that have changed the meta in ways that we are yet to discover. However, if we are going to see more matches like the one between OG and Alliance yesterday, sign me up!

The favorites lost in an epic encounter and will be eager to get back to winning ways today. They face Team Secret next which is going to be a tough task. Both sides have loads of talent and the current version of the game has brought chaos to the competitive scene.

That’s why I don’t see a clear win for either side and the over 2.5 available for +116 makes it to my selection of esports betting tips for Wednesday.

Team Liquid won twice already in the ESL One Road to Rio, but the performance has been far from perfect. The squad lost a map against Bad News Bears and had problems versus MIBR too. If you add the decent form of Envy so far in the competition, I think that the underdog could steal a map today.

The price of +200 of the match to be decided after three maps is certainly high enough for me to go for it.

The other Dota 2 match that is part of my esports betting tips today is from the Epic Prime League. VP.Prodigy is expected to beat Cyber Legacy, but the underdog has been excellent recently and could easily win a round here. That makes the price of +163 for over 2.5 a good choice, in my opinion.

Finally, I have the match between Bad News Bears and MIBR. Both sides need a win here and while I expect the Brazilians to edge their opponents, it could be a close one. BNB have showed enough to suggest they could trouble the opposition today and I’m going for the over 2.5.
