Esports Betting Tips for Tuesday, June 30th – Today’s Picks and Predictions for CS:GO and LoL

| June 30, 2020 12:01 am PDT

Not a lot of high-profile games are taking place today but we can still cash in on some CS:GO and League of Legends matchups.

I focus heavily on the CS_SUMMIT 6 event where teams from both the European and North American divisions are in action and there is also a free pick for the most interesting game at the 2020 LPLOL tournament.

Let’s kick off my top esports bets for Tuesday, June 30th, with one of the Lower Bracket Round 1 matchups at the CS:GO CS_SUMMIT competition.

NiP (-1.5) vs. GODSENT

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: CS_SUMMIT 6 Europe
  • Starting time: 09:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +125
  • Where to bet: 10Bet

Both NiP and GODSENT were thrown to the losers’ bracket yesterday and this matchup is their last chance of surviving at the tournament.

Naturally, NiP is the huge favorite in this latest Swedish derby at the event as GODSENT doesn’t possess the same experience at these stages of the top-tier CS:GO tournaments.

Their prospects for making a mark in the playoffs looked good after they handed a heavy beating to current world No.3 G2 Esports but yesterday’s loss against BIG showcased the fact that this team is still not ready to compete regularly with the elite.

NiP will want to do well after losing to Fnatic in the Upper Bracket and I believe they will take full advantage of GODSENT’s mistakes today.

A 2:0 win for the favorite looks like the most logical scenario here and you can read more about my reasoning in this NiP vs. GODSENT betting preview for Tuesday.

ENCE vs. FaZe Over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: CS_SUMMIT 6 Europe
  • Starting time: 12:00 Pacific Time
  • Odds: +119
  • Where to bet:

ENCE and FaZe are out of the playoffs but they will be playing in the consolidation bracket today.

The Clan has failed miserably against the top teams recently and the only win in their last five outings came against lower-ranked Heretics.

NiKo and his teammates are definitely not in top shape right now and there isn’t too much left to play for here so I expect they will use the game to try some new stuff.

On the flip side, the ENCE boys have won a map in each of their last five matches and will want to do well today against one of the top European organizations.

The last two bouts between these squads needed a third round and I can easily see a repeat today.

Given the circumstances, the +119 odds for the Over 2.5 market look like an absolute steal!

Team Liquid (-1.5) vs. 100 Thieves

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: CS_SUMMIT 6 North America
  • Starting time: 15:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +158
  • Where to bet: BetOnline

One of the Upper Bracket Round 1 games in the NA division of the CS_SUMMIT is taking place today and it promises to be another highly entertaining bout.

The Thieves have done well to navigate the group stage with solid wins versus Cloud9 and Chaos.

However, their recent track record against the elite has not exactly been impressive as they have failed to beat any of the higher-ranked teams in the division.

Liquid looked hungry in their recent outings and the 2:0 wins against Brazilians MIBR and FURIA confirm that.

They have have been dominant against 100 Thieves in their last three head-to-head games and the odds of +158 for a 2:0 Liquid are much higher than expected.

The Thieves shouldn’t be underestimated but with the way EliGE and NAF are playing right now, I can definitely see the favorite closing out the tie early today.

More Esports Betting Tips for Tuesday, June 30th

I have lined up two more CS:GO predictions for my top esports picks for today and you can see them below:

  • G2 (-1.5) vs. Movistar Riders; -114
  • OFFSET to beat For The Win; +175

Before I get to the reasoning behind my choices, I want to briefly turn your attention to how important it is to always use a safe and reputable bookmaker for your esports wagers.

You should never compromise with the safety of your sensitive data and bankroll, so you need to ensure that the operator of your choice is fully licensed and has the necessary security setup in place.

But that’s not all!

You obviously want the best deal for your hard-earned cash and you can’t get the same level of service with all the betting sites.

That is why I have prepared a list of esports bookmakers who have been thoroughly examined by our team and you will be able to find some of the most competitive odds and bonuses there, plus a diverse market selection that can add great flexibility to your strategy:

Now to wrap up today’s top esports predictions.

CS:GO organization G2 hasn’t enjoyed their best stretch as of late. They lost the DreamHack Masters Final and were ousted early from the BLAST Premier event.

The CS_SUMMIT was also not particularly successful for them as they fell to both GODSENT and Fnatic and lost the chance to enter the playoffs.

Today’s consolidation game against minnows Movistar Riders is a chance to exit the tournament on a high and start planning for the upcoming top competitions.

There is always a chance for an upset in these kinds of matchups but the Riders haven’t looked competitive in this tier and G2 should be able to take them down on two maps even if KennyS, nexa, and huNter- are in exhibition mode.

And for my pinal pick, I’m going with a game at the Portuguese LoL League which pins together OFFSET vs. For The Win.

FTW is the overwhelming favorite but underdogs OFFSET have stabilized their performances after a slow start at the event.

They notched up three straight wins before falling to Electronic Generation who are currently on a 7-1 record.

It’s evident that OFFSET is steadily improving and this tournament has seen them defy the odds a couple of times already.

The Best of 1 format allows for many surprises in the group stage and I just can’t pass on the odds +175 here.

That’s the end of my post on the best esports bets for June 30th but if you’re looking to put some more wagers in, you can regularly check our predictions and picks page.
