Best Esports Bets June 25th, 2020

Welcome to another edition of my top esports picks post!

Today’s schedule offers a lot of exciting ties on both the CS:GO and Dota 2 scenes and I have lined up predictions for the most high-profile bouts complete with the latest odds and my reasoning.

Let’s kick off my selection of the best esports bets for June 25th with the day’s most highly-anticipated matchup at the European CS_SUMMIT tournament!

BIG (-1.5) vs. FaZe

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: CS_SUMMIT 6 Europe
  • Starting time: 09:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +213
  • Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag

FaZe Clan will be taking on German organization BIG once again after failing to beat them at the DreamHack event.

Captain tabseN and his team took down The Clan with ease in both playoff meetings and then went on to clinch the title after overcoming a two-round deficit against current world leaders G2 Esports.

Since then, the Germans have been on an absolute roll, laying waste to every opponent that has come their way.

They are extremely high on confidence and the team chemistry is superb right now.

When you add the fact that syrsoN and XANTARES are two of the best marksmen on current form at the moment, I just can’t pass up the opportunity to back the team to hand another heavy defeat to their opponents.

The odds of +213 for a handicap win are terrific given the circumstances and if you want to get more details on the upcoming bout, you can check out my full FaZe vs. BIG betting preview for Thursday.

Virtus.pro vs. OG Over 2.5

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: Beyond Epic EU & CIS
  • Starting time: 10:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: -112
  • Where to bet: Betway

Both these organizations have had their moments at the Beyond Epic event so far but still remain a bit inconsistent.

They are practically on the same level right now and although I feel OG will edge this on account of their more solid execution, it’s hard to dismiss the Russians’ chances, so I’m going with the Over 2.5 market.

I don’t believe any of these organizations is able to dominate right now and there will be pressure in both camps today which usually translates to mistakes.

In any case, this tie should take three maps to get settled and my colleague Jerry Summer shares the same opinion in his in-depth Virtus.pro vs. OG betting preview for today.

Evil Geniuses to Win vs. FURIA

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: CS_SUMMIT 6 North America
  • Starting time: 12:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +100
  • Where to bet: 10Bet

Evil Geniuses are coming into this tie as BLAST Premier Finals champion and this will give the group great confidence ahead of another meeting with FURIA.

Their top gunman CeRq won the Player of the Tournament award for his performances and a big reason was his display against captain arT and his Brazilian teammates in the Upper Bracket playoff tie that EG won.

It’s hard to bet against FURIA even when they’re not in top shape but it seems that the back-to-back defeats against MIBR have rattled the confidence of this group and elite pros like yuurih and KSCERATO looked a bit daft in the last outings.

EG also has the head-to-head record on their side as they have won all four of their last bouts with FURIA and the +100 for an outright win for The Geniuses are simply too hard to pass on today.

More details on my prediction and an overview of the current form of these organizations are available over at my Evil Geniuses vs. FURIA betting preview.

More Esports Betting Tips for Thursday, June 25th

I wrap up my best esports bets for today with two more CS:GO picks. Here are the predictions and you can read up on my reasoning below:

  • Heretics to win vs. OG; -102
  • Cloud9 to win vs. Gen.G; -141

Today’s European CS_SUMMIT schedule will see a French derby take place with Team Heretics taking on OG.

Aleksib and his team are higher-ranked and despite a slight improvement of form as of late, they remain very inconsistent with their execution.

The tactics of the in-game leader are spot on most of the times but this roster simply lacks firepower and discipline to rack up a consistent run at the top.

Heretics can take full advantage of this as they have built a good momentum and have an edge over OG on six different maps.

They were victorious when these teams last met and I feel we’re in for the same scenario. The odds of -102 are quite decent and that’s where the betting value is in my opinion.

And for my last pick of the day, I’m going with a Cloud9 win against Gen.G.

Captain daps and his trusted generals BnTeT, koosta, and s0m have been in a downward spiral for quite a while now.

The team’s success at the ESL One: Road to Rio qualifiers was mainly because of the flawless execution of the in-game leader’s tactics.

However, when the form of his teammates dried up, daps was left exposed and this resulted in some heavy beatings in the most recent tournaments.

The Cloud9 guys are quite inconsistent themselves but with floppy hitting top form right now, they have the firepower to make a difference and capitalize on Gen.G’s mistakes.

Before I go away, I want to make sure that you have found a reputable bookmaker for your esports wagers.
