Esports Betting Tips for Sunday, June 14th – Today’s Picks and Predictions for CS:GO, LoL, and Dota 2
The end of this week will bring us two big finals in CS:GO that will be the main highlight on Sunday. I cover them both in my esports betting tips for today, alongside various matches from the Dota 2 and League of Legends competitive scene.
As always, the goal is to find the best esports bets based on the available odds. I’ve included recommended prices and my analysis for all of my predictions, so you understand the reasoning behind all picks for Sunday.
G2 Esports vs. BIG Under 26.5 on Map 2
- Game: CS:GO
- Tournament: DreamHack Masters Spring Grand Final, Europe
- Starting time: 5:50 am Pacific Time
- Odds: -120
- Where to bet: 10Bet
Before I move to the reasoning behind the first of my esports betting tips for today, let me remind you of several facts about the DreamHack Masters Spring Grand Final. The match is in the best-of-five format and G2 Esports start the clash with 1-0 advantage as the winner of the Upper Bracket.
That makes the team the favorite in the final and that’s only natural based on what we’ve seen so far. And yet, BIG has been a strong presence too and the last clash between the same sides in the Upper Bracket Final was decided after three maps.
It’s interesting to note that each of them was extremely one-sided and the loser didn’t reach double digits in rounds won. I won’t be shocked if that happens on at least several maps today which is why I decided to try this unusual wager.
My pick essentially is for the loser on the second map to win ten rounds max. The price of -120 is decent and each team has the upper hand on selected maps, so this looks like a reasonable choice.
Origen to Beat Misfits Gaming
- Game: LoL
- Tournament: LEC 2020 Summer Season
- Starting time: 10:00 am Pacific Time
- Odds: -192
- Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag
The Summer Season of the League of Legends European Championship started this week and we already had two rounds of exciting matches. I remind you that the group stage of the competition is played in the best-of-one format.
Origen took full advantage of that to surprise G2 Esports yesterday and that win was more than welcome after the opening defeat against SK Gaming. The team has an excellent chance to continue with another victory today against Misfits Gaming, one of the sides that have been struggling so far.
It’s obvious that Misfits is far from its best and already lost twice, while Origin’s confidence should be high after beating one of the best sides in the tournament. That’s why getting -192 for the favorite looks like one of the best esports bets for today.
FURIA vs. Team Liquid Over 4.5
- Game: CS:GO
- Tournament: DreamHack Masters Spring Grand Final, Americas
- Starting time: 11:30 pm Pacific Time
- Odds: +176
- Where to bet: BetOnline
The Grand Final of the DreamHack Masters in NA and SA is also scheduled for Sunday. The format is the same as in Europe, so FURIA starts the match with a 1-0 advantage over Team Liquid. I’m not sure that will be enough, as the American side has been excellent in the playoffs.
After barely making it to the second stage of the competition, Liquid has won three in a row there without losing a single map. FURIA has been dominant too and I think we’re in for a treat today.
I believe the match has the potential to go all the way and reach five maps, so the price of +176 is certainly worth a shot.
Additional Esports Betting Tips for Sunday, June 14th
- CR4ZY to beat business associates; +110
- Immortals to beat CLG; -145
- Beastcoast vs. Thunder Predator draw; +100
Before I move on to the last three of my esports betting tips for today, let me remind you that the odds you see in this post might change by the time you’re reading it. Some might be worse but others might be better. That’s why I recommend you to check some of the top esports betting sites online in the pursuit of higher value.
With that out of the way, let’s return to the best esports betting picks for Sunday. I have Dota 2 match from the returning BTS Pro Series, Americas. CR4ZY starts the competition against business associates and I think the team will use the momentum from the ESL One Birmingham performance to win here.
The match will be in the best-of-two format, so the draw is also a possibility, but I expect strong performance and a victory for CR4ZY.
Next in line is another LoL clash, this time from the League Championships Series in North America. Immortals had a disappointing start in the competition and will be looking to bounce back. I believe they are better than Counter Logic Gaming, so getting -145 for a victory here looks like a good deal.
For the last of my esports betting tips for today, I return to the BTS Pro Series. I thought long and hard about the match between beastcoast and Thunder Predator. It seems impossible to separate those two right now and the draw makes the most sense. You can get around +100 in most bookmakers, so that’s my recommended pick.
