Best Esports Tips for Sunday, April 19th

The week is about to end and Sunday features plenty of important encounters in various esports. The grand finals of Flashpoint Season 1 and the LoL European Championship are the biggest matches today, but there are many other exciting events in CS:GO, Dota 2, and League of Legends.

This trinity is the main target of my esports betting tips post for Sunday. I cover a total of six matches that will take place today and share my best bets and reasoning for all of them. Enjoy!

Copenhagen Flames vs. BIG Over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: #HomeSweetHome
  • Starting time: 6 am Pacific Time
  • Odds: +155
  • Where to bet: 10bet

Everyone expects a win for BIG here and I can’t argue with that. And yet, Copenhagen Flames showed a lot of improvement in Week 2 of #HomeSweetHome, so I believe the Danes can push the favorite to a third map here.

The price of +155 certainly is worth a shot which is the reason this match finds a place on my list of best esports bets for Sunday.

Evil Geniuses vs. CR4ZY Over 2.5

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: BTS Pro Series: Americas
  • Starting time: 10 am Pacific Time
  • Odds: +120
  • Where to bet:

This one should be epic and I plan to watch every single minute of it. Evil Geniuses looked set for the top spot in the group before losing two in a row. The team bounced back but now faces the unbeaten CR4ZY in a clash that will have a lot of impact on the final standings and the seeds distribution for the BTS Pro Series: Americas playoffs.

I don’t see how any of the squads can finish the opponent in two games, so the odds of +120 for over 2.5 had to be included to my esports betting tips for today.

MIBR vs. MAD Lions Over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: Flashpoint Season 1
  • Starting time: 1 pm Pacific Time
  • Odds: -112
  • Where to bet: Betway

Ok, I obviously see overs everywhere today but can you really blame me? If you watched Flashpoint Season 1 so far, you know that both teams have showed similar performances. MIBR is unbeaten and the only defeat of MAD Lions was against the Brazilians in the upper bracket final.

That match was decided after three maps and I see no reason why that won’t happen again today. It’s going to be close, so -112 looks like a solid price.

More Esports Betting Tips for April 19th

  • Team Spirit to beat Godsent; -115
  • Fnatic to beat G2; -120
  • Quincy Crew to beat Thunder Predator; -189

I have even more esports betting picks for Sunday and I explain my logic behind each below. Before you get there, I recommend you to take a look at the leading esports bookmakers. I use them for line shopping on a daily basis and that’s the optimal way to extract the maximum value.

As for the rest of my best esports bets of the day, the first one is for Team Spirit to beat Godsent. Both sides have a lot of momentum but the Russians were so good against OG yesterday that I feel obliged to take the price of -115.

Next in line is the final of the League of Legends European Championship. The Spring Playoffs convinced me that Fnatic is the best team in the competition and I expect a victory against G2 today. It won’t be flawless, but the odds of -120 are more than decent.

My last prediction is for another Dota 2 match. I think that Quincy Crew took off after demolishing Evil Geniuses and I don’t think that Thunder Predator can stop them. I almost went for the -1.5 options, but -189 for a straight win is good enough.
