Esports Betting Tips for Saturday, June 6th – Today’s Picks and Predictions for CS:GO and Dota 2
This weekend is full of high-stake games at some of the biggest esports tournaments on the calendar. And this means only one thing – plenty of options to make some money by betting online!
I start off these top esports bets for Saturday with a look at two crunch Dota 2 matchups and continue with three mouth-watering CS:GO ties.
Let’s kick things off with the ESL One Birmingham Lower Bracket Final for the European & CIS division.
Team Secret (-1.5) vs. VP.Prodigy
- Game: Dota 2
- Tournament: ESL One Birmingham EU & CIS
- Starting time: 07:00 AM Pacific Time
- Odds: -166
- Where to bet: 10Bet
Secret continue their quest to exact revenge on Alliance but they will first have to take care of the youth roster of the Virtus.pro organization.
The VP.Prodigy boys have done well to reach this stage of the tournament but will be facing their toughest test yet.
The favorites did relinquish a round against Team Nigma but I doubt they will allow themselves to lose focus here.
Captain Puppey and his players are smelling blood right now and the loss against Alliance has made them more relentless than ever.
This is bad news for VP.Prodigy and given their woeful record against today’s opponent, I just can’t see any other outcome except a 2:0 victory for Secret.

CR4ZY vs. Evil Geniuses Over 2.5
- Game: Dota 2
- Tournament: ESL One Birmingham NA & SA
- Starting time: 10:00 AM Pacific Time
- Odds: -105
- Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag
Going to the North American bracket of the ESL One competition, I’m picking a three-round matchup between CR4ZY and Evil Geniuses.
Both these organizations are definitely part of the Dota 2 elite but they have had some glaring holes in the drafting process and execution lately and I feel that neither will be able to dominate today.
CR4ZY was booted to the Lower Bracket by Quincy Crew and will be itching to get another chance to topple the favorites at the Grand Final.
EG started slowly against business associates but improved to win the second and third rounds.
Today’s test will be much harder for the Americans but they do have a superior head-to-head record and even if they fail to win here, they should be able to at least take a map.
Gen.G to Beat FURIA
- Game: CS:GO
- Tournament: Blast Premier Showdown NA
- Starting time: 10:00 AM Pacific Time
- Odds: +148
- Where to bet: BetOnline
Americans Gen.G haven’t been able to hit top form since the DreamHack event started and they have been tentative at the BLAST tournament as well.
However, this comes as no surprise as daps and company almost always struggle in the early stages of these competitions. The good news for them is that they can also improve a lot when the playoffs come around.
This happened at the ESL One: Road to Rio when a tactical masterclass on Train and Inferno ensured that Gen.G wrapped up the Grand Final against FURIA.
The Brazilians did beat them in the group stage at the BLAST Showdown event but the format and stakes are very different now and I expect daps and his trusted generals koosta, s0m, and BnTeT to be much more focused.
More Esports Betting Tips for Saturday, June 6th
I wrap up my top esports picks for today with two more CS:GO matchups:
- Team Vitality to beat Fnatic; +108
- Evil Geniuses vs. MIBR Over 2.5; -145
I provide my reasoning for these predictions in a minute, but first I want to talk about your choice of a bookmaker.
As you can see, I provided some of the sportsbooks that I feel offer you the best odds, markets, and security.
But they aren’t the only ones that excel on the esports front. Our team of experts is regularly checking up on numerous platforms and the ones we recommend can guarantee you a safe and reliable experience.
You can check the list below:
The late semi-final of the European playoff bracket at the CS:GO BLAST Premier event sees Team Vitality take on Fnatic.
The betting sites have the Swedes as the favorite but I feel the Frenchmen will be able to edge this one.
Golden and his team have strung together a good run in the competition so far but it’s also true that they have mostly played against lower-ranked opposition.
On the flip side, Vitality has had some heavy bouts against solid teams like NiP and ENCE and also pummeled Astralis 16-6.
Plyaers RpK and apEX have provided good support to superstar ZywOo and I believe they are in more competitive form right now.
Plus, the odds of +108 are simply too good to turn down.
Looking at the North American division again, I have Evil Geniuses and MIBR to settle their tie in three rounds.
The same scenario went down when the teams last met at the ESL One Pro League and I feel they are currently on a pretty similar level to what they showed back in April.
MIBR has slightly improved since benching meyern and bringing in trk, but EG can answer with an in-form CeRq.
Despite the recent positives, however, both teams can be very inconsistent and I believe that the mistakes they will most definitely make on the tactical front are bound to push the series into a decisive third map.
