Esports Betting Tips for Monday, June 8th, 2020

After being spoilt by a weekend full of high-profile CS:GO and Dota 2 action, Monday doesn’t bring us the same level of excitement but there are still plenty of betting opportunities if you look at the schedule.

With these best esports picks for June 8th, I share my thoughts on which markets offer the best deal for today’s most interesting ties.

I start off with one of the Lower Bracket playoffs at the CS:GO DreamHack Masters event.

MAD Lions vs. Team Spirit Over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: DreamHack Masters Europe
  • Starting time: 07:50 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: -103
  • Where to bet: 10Bet

MAD Lions started the BLAST Premier event in style as they topped their group after dominant wins against Virtus.pro, Dignitas, and Fnatic. They did allow mousesports to clinch a draw but automatic qualification for one of the finals was already secured.

AcilioN and his team had to face ENCE next and started well on Train but the Finnish side led by Jamppi was able to turn things around and ended up winning by a 16-13 scoreline.

This rattled the Lions as they started poorly the second round on Mirage and ENCE quickly romped to an 11-4 lead.

However, acoR’s inspired form was enough to push the leg into overtime. The Finns stood firm, though, and fended off their opponent to wrap up the series.

Now the Danes will be facing Russian organization Team Spirit which hasn’t been in action since the DreamHack Masters’ group stage.

They did well to finish above higher-ranked Fnatic and GODSENT and will definitely fancy their chances today.

Captain chopper and his teammates hold very good records on Train, Overpass, and Mirage, and they certainly have the resources to snatch a round here.

I’m going with the Over 2.5 market and if you want to learn more about my reasoning, you can check out this full MAD Lions vs. Team Spirit betting preview

Heroic to Win vs. 4 Zoomers

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: Vulkan Fight Series
  • Starting time: 09:55 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: -128
  • Where to bet: BetOnline

Both teams have been underperforming in the tournament so far and the expectations are low. And yet, Heroic did register one victory over Family Team in the last match of the group and showed some promise.

I can’t say the same about 4 Zoomers, as the squad was the punching bag of group B. In fact, I’m surprised by the price of -128 for Heroic in this one.

Their opponents haven’t won a competitive Dota 2 match in almost a month, so I believe this is one of the best esports bets for today.

Team Vitality (-1.5) vs. Team Heroic

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: DreamHack Masters Europe
  • Starting time: 12:30 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +147
  • Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag

These organizations haven’t met since locking horns at the EPICENTER event back in December of last year.

The Frenchmen won the tie with relative ease but Team Heroic has definitely improved since then.

The Danish organization won four of their five games in Week 6 of the Home Sweet Cup and has generally looked a lot more stable after adding TeSeS to their ranks.

The former Copenhagen Flames player has contributed well on the kills front but today he will be facing arguably the best marksmen on the CS:GO scene right now.

19-year-old ZywOo has been phenomenal in the past few months and is currently topping the world charts in ten different categories.

He was once again the main man as Vitality took on Ninjas in Pyjamas at the BLAST Premier Final 1 yesterday.

Despite a surprisingly shaky performance on their new favorite map Nuke, the Frenchmen improved significantly and won the rounds on Overpass and Vertigo.

The team is flying right now as shox, apEX, and RpK are offering good support to ZywOo and it’s no surprise that they are heavy favorites to come on top here.

Heroic has been impressive lately but they have mainly played lower-ranked opposition and haven’t been in action for more than a week.

I feel like they will have problems in the late stages of the rounds where the Frenchmen have proven to be ruthless recently. This should be a 2:0 win for Vitality and the odds make for a great bet.

More Esports Betting Tips for Monday, June 8th

Time for the rest of my esports betting picks for today:

  • Fnatic to win vs. Complexity Gaming; -130
  • japaleno to win vs. Hard Legion; +114

Before I get to the reasoning behind these predictions, I would like to turn your attention to our recommended esports betting sites.

If you really want to make a profit from wagering on your favorite games online, you need to plan for the long term and use a reputable bookmaker that can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

This includes low betting margins, solid market selections, and high-quality bonuses and promotions.

All of these ingredients can help you increase your chances of implementing a successful strategy and my advice is to not compromise with them.

If you feel like you still haven’t found a betting site that provides good service on those fronts, you can explore the ones below as they have been thoroughly vetted by our team of experts:

Now back to my picks.

Fnatic will face Complexity Gaming in the early DreamHack Lower Bracket playoff today. The Swedes have performed decently at the recent BLAST Premier event and have already racked up two 2:0 victories against Complexity this season.

Captain blameF’s team has definitely improved as of late but Fnatic is a very uncomfortable opponent for them and although there is a big possibility they will win a map, I feel Fnatic will wrap up the tie in the end and the odds of -130 carry a great betting value.

And for my last prediction, I’m going with a win for japaleno against Hard Legion in the opening fixture of Group D at this year’s CS:GO HellCase Cup.

The bookmakers are giving the advantage to the Russians, however, the Swedish outfit beat them 2:0 the last time around.

On top of that, the Legion is not exactly enjoying a good run right now as they have recently endured heavy defeats by Navi Junior, Heroic, FATE, and c0ntact.

It will definitely be a tough matchup for both teams but I like japaleno’s bold approach with FREDDyFROG and Relaxa leading the line and I believe they have a very good chance to upset the odds today again.

This wraps up my best esports bets for June 8th but be sure to tune in again tomorrow for another edition of the post.
