Esports Betting Tips for Monday, June 1st – Today’s Picks and Predictions for CS:GO and Dota 2

Let’s start the month with some esports predictions!
There are plenty of active tournaments right now on both the CS:GO and Dota 2 scenes and all the top esports betting sites have them extensively covered.
Today sees the start of the 2020 Blast Premier Showdown event for Counter-Strike and there are a few interesting Dota ties taking place as well.
I detail them below and my top esports bets for Monday also include the current betting prices for the best markets you can attack the games with.
Winstrike Team vs. FlyToMoon Over 2.5
- Game: Dota 2
- Tournament: PM League
- Starting time: 09:00 AM Pacific Time
- Odds: +174
- Where to bet: SportsBetting
FlyToMoon has recently beaten Winstrike twice with relative ease but the underdogs have played well at the PariMatch League so far.
I still expect FTM to edge this but I am inclined to back Winstrike to take a map here. They defeated Dota juggernauts Virtus.pro already and there was also a solid win against Hard Legion in there.
This will give them the needed confidence to approach this Russian derby with full focus and the odds for a three-round game are superb.
Astralis to Beat NiP
- Game: CS:GO
- Tournament: BLAST Premier Spring Europe Showdown
- Starting time: 09:00 AM Pacific Time
- Odds: -155
- Where to bet: 10Bet
The current world number one starts the BLAST Premier Showdown group with a tie against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
NiP are struggling since they benched captain Lekr0 and brought in hampus to lead the team. They pummeled ENCE in their most recent outing which allowed them to catch the last train for the DreamHack Masters playoffs but they are still very unconvincing against the top teams.
Astralis can be prone to a drop in form at the start of these events but look stable right now and players device, dupreeh, ana Magisk will be itching to wrap this up quickly.
You will rarely see such high odds for an Astralis win against a side outside the Top 10, so I simply can’t miss out on that.
If you’re still not convinced, maybe this Astralis vs. NiP betting preview will help you decide on how the approach this tie. You will find a more detailed analysis and reasoning there.
FURIA (-4.5) vs. MIBR
- Game: CS:GO
- Tournament: BLAST Premier Spring North America Showdown
- Starting time: 10:00 AM Pacific Time
- Odds: +129
- Where to bet: BetOnline
The start of the BLAST Premier American Showdown will see another edition of the top CS:GO Brazilian derby.
FURIA has been dominant against MIBR in recent games as FalleN and his teammates continue to search for a way to counter their opponent’s lightning pace and supreme aim.
Captain arT and his squad did lose the ESL One: Road to Rio Grand Final to Gen.G but MIBR does not possess the same tactical arsenal and they will once again try to meet KSCERATO, yuurih, and HEN1 in the open.
This has worked in the past but right now, FURIA looks like an impossible puzzle for MIBR to solve and I’m expecting another solid win for them.
There are plenty of handicap options you can choose for this Best of 1 game but I’ll go with the -4.5 for FURIA since it represents the best balance between price and probability.
If you want a more detailed look at this matchup, feel free to check out this FURIA vs. MIBR betting preview.
More Esports Betting Tips for Monday, June 1st
Below you will find the rest of my top esports bets for today:
- Unique vs. Khan Over 2.5; +116
- Dignitas (+2.5) vs. mousesports; +104
- MAD Lions to Beat Fnatic; +109
Two teams that have struggled at the Dota 2 PariMatch League event so far will lock horns today. Team Unique is the definite favorite and holds a good head-to-head advantage over Khan.
However, the underdogs are not down and out and their win against FTM 2.0 proves that they can cause damage when on top of their game.
It will be tough for them but they have snatched a few maps in recent clashes with Team Unique and since the favorites are not exactly at their best right now, I feel a three-round game is the most logical conclusion.
I wrap up my best esports bets post with a further two CS:GO predictions for the BLAST Premier European Showdown.
The MouZ is coming into the tie with Dignitas fresh from an excruciating defeat against Natus Vincere in the Gamers Without Borders Grand Final.
Captain chrisj and his teammates looked doomed after NaVi took the first two maps but they fought back and managed to equalize with good displays on Nuke and Train.
They even had a decent chance to make a full comeback on Inferno but s1mple and his crew held on and wrapped up a 15:12 tiebreak win to seal the title.
Despite the obvious improvement, I’m still not convinced that mousesports are back to their best and an organized team like Dignitas can give them a run for their money. It should be a close one and the +2.5 for the Swedes looks like the best option.
The late game at the BLAST Premier today features a Scandinavian derby between ESL Pro League champions Fnatic and MAD Lions who won the inaugural Flashpoint event.
Both teams are not in top form right now so it’s hard to say how this will pan out but I feel the odds for MAD Lions are higher than they should be.
Yes, Fnatic holds the better ranking and on their day, they can topple any team but MAD Lions have definite quality on this roster and I feel like they will soon be getting back to the dominant form they displayed at the Flashpoint tournament not long ago.
Before I wrap up these esports betting tips for today, I want to present you with a list of our recommended online bookmakers.
If you’re planning on making a profit in the long run, you definitely need a sportsbook that offers high odds and limits, solid market selections, and the best exclusive deals.
The ones below are some of the best in these departments and you are missing out on a lot of goodies if you haven’t wagered on their platforms.
That’s it for today but if you’re looking to bet on other sports, you can head over to our predictions and picks page. On top of the main esports events, you will find coverage for the most popular traditional sports with our own predictions and betting picks.
