Esports Betting Tips for Monday, June 15th – Today’s Picks and Predictions for CS:GO and Dota 2

Best Esports Bets June 15th, 2020

I kick off this week’s daily editions of my esports betting tips with four crunch CS:GO matchups and a couple of Dota 2 games scheduled to be played at the Beyond Epic tournament.

As usual, there are quite a few options to approach the betting angle and my top esports picks concentrate on where the value actually lies.

I kick things off with a French derby at the CS:GO BLAST Premier Spring Finals.

G2 vs. Vitality Over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: BLAST Premier Finals Europe
  • Starting time: 07:30 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: -108
  • Where to bet: BetOnline

G2 will be feeling very low after losing the DreamHack Masters Grand Final at the hands of German organization BIG.

Captain nexa and his team had previously taken down the Germans in the playoffs but failed to make their Upper Bracket advantage count against an inspired squad that is definitely going places.

Team Vitality hasn’t featured in a competitive match since they were ousted from the DreamHack event themselves by Ninjas in Pyjamas.

It was a close tie that could’ve easily gone either way and I expect the same kind of performance today from ZywOo and his teammates.

Usually, these matches are a bit cagey and both teams will be looking to find an opening and take advantage of their opponent’s mistakes.

There isn’t a lot that separates these teams and although I feel Vitality will edge this, the -108 odds for a three-round game is the best option here.

I have prepared an individual G2 vs. Vitality betting preview for today where I present a detailed overview of the teams’ recent form. So you can check the link if you need more convincing.

Team Liquid (-1.5) vs. NiP

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: Beyond Epic
  • Starting time: 11:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: +162
  • Where to bet: 10Bet

Team Liquid and NiP kick off their involvement in the Beyond Epic event today and captain KuroKy and his team are deservedly the huge favorites.

The Ninjas have fallen off a cliff recently and Liquid will no doubt push for a solid opening win given that their group at the tournament is packed with good teams.

A 2:0 win for the favorite sounds logical here and the odds of +162 make for a great price.

A more detailed look at the upcoming matchup is available over at my colleague’s Team Liquid vs. NiP betting preview.

FaZe to Win vs. ENCE

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: BLAST Premier Finals Europe
  • Starting time: 11:00 AM Pacific Time
  • Odds: -120
  • Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag

Finnish side ENCE has established itself as one of the most skilled and tactically astute teams in the CS:GO B-Tier.

This roster is still some way off from the real elite but they can cause trouble on any map and the recent addition of AWP specialist Jamppi has definitely increased their offensive firepower.

FaZe crumbled at the DreamHack event against all odds after Germans BIG first sent them packing to the Lower  Bracket and then outplayed them again to end their campaign.

It was a huge disappointment for NiKo and his squad but they are still one of the deadliest forces on the European scene and main gunmen broky and coldzera will have a point to prove today.

The Clan can breeze through teams when they are on point and I feel they will be looking to take revenge here and ENCE will be the victims.

It might take them a while to settle into the match but I back the favorites to ultimately clinch it and you won’t get better odds for a FaZe win against a team outside the Top 15.

If you want to learn more about my reasoning, be sure to check out my FaZe vs. ENCE betting preview for June 15th.

More Esports Betting Tips for Monday, June 15th

Let’s see what other events present good betting opportunities. I have two more CS:GO predictions and a Dota 2 game lined up as well.

So, here are the rest of my top esports picks for today:

  • BIG (-1.5) vs. Team Spirit; +177
  • Virtus.pro to win vs. Heroic; +124
  • Viking (-1.5) vs. Team Unique; +171

Before I get into the reasoning behind my choices, I want to quickly note how important it is to choose the right bookmaker for your wagers.

Do you feel like you’re not getting the best service out of the betting sites you’re currently using?

This is a common occurrence since there are a lot of platforms that allow betting on esports right now and naturally, not everyone can give you the low margins, fast transactions, and market selections you are after.

If you’re struggling to find the right fit, you can check out our recommended esports bookmakers below. They have all been put under the microscope by our team and provide solid service in every department that is important for the long-term success of your betting strategy.

Going back to my predictions, I have Germans BIG to win 2:0 against Team Spirit at the ESL Pro League qualifiers today.

Captain tabseN and his team are the big story on the European CS:GO scene after winning the DreamHack event despite going into the Grand Final tie with G2 carrying a one round disadvantage.

They also pummeled FaZe Clan twice in the playoffs with dominant performances and are simply flying right now.

I don’t see how the Russians will be able to put up kind of resistance and the odds of +177 for a clean win for the favorite are among the top prices you can bank on today.

Virtus.pro will have a hard task today as Heroic has had some solid displays at the A-Tier events as of late.

Adding TeSeS from Copenhagen Flames has definitely helped their cause but they have been a bit off lately.

On the flip side, Virtus.pro is on a good run after beating HAVU, Sprout, and the elite mousesports. They did fall to BIG but looking at how the Germans are performing right now, I doubt the loss will rattle the confidence of the group in any significant way.

Both teams are fighting for their life after going down to the Lower Bracket of the ESL Pro League qualifiers and I feel captain AdreN and his teammates have shown better resilience as of late and I’m backing them to edge this and throw out Heroic.

And finally, I have another Dota 2 pick for you.

Vikin.gg will be desperate to kick off their Beyond Epic campaign with a good win and they have every chance of doing it again a struggling Team Unique.

The Vikings have had a great year so far and are constantly improving. Their drafting strategy and execution are far better and I feel they will come out all guns blazing right from the start.

Unique is not famous for sensational comebacks so the favorites should be able to control the tie throughout and come away with a 2:0 win.

This wraps up my best esports picks for Monday but there is loads more betting previews over at our predictions and picks section.

Feel free to explore our team’s predictions and the latest odds for the main esports events and some of the more traditional sports we cover.
