Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins - WWE Money in the Bank Betting Preview

Seth Rollins will attempt to snatch the WWE Championship title from Drew McIntyre this weekend as the pair go head-to-head at Money in the Bank 2020.

This is set to be a heavyweight clash between two of wrestling’s top performers, but could it also be one of the event’s most one-sided matches?

In this Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins betting preview, I assess the odds and discuss both fighters’ chances before sharing my final pick.

Let’s get right into it.

Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins Betting Odds

The leading WWE sites have provided us with the following odds for Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins.

Drew McIntyre-600
Seth Rollins+350

No prizes for guessing who the bookies are favoring here! McIntyre is the out-and-out frontrunner to win this bout, while Rollins is the rank outsider.

Will Drew McIntyre Claim the Victory?

Drew McIntyre dethroned Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to become the first-ever British WWE Champion. But he wasn’t done there.

To further assert his dominance, the Scot defended his belt less than half an hour after winning the title by seeing off The Big Show in an impromptu match.

McIntyre’s journey to the top has been a long, hard slog. But after proving himself on the biggest stage of all against not one but two established stars, he won’t be willing to surrender the title anytime soon.

Of course, Seth Rollins is a tough challenger, and he will no doubt put up a decent fight. But McIntyre will do everything in his power to hold onto his belt for as long as possible, so it’s highly unlikely that he will fall at the first hurdle.

Does Seth Rollins Stand a Chance?

Following McIntyre’s impressive victory over Andrade on a recent edition of Raw, Rollins ambushed the Brit and attacked him unawares. McIntyre was quick to challenge Rollins to a match, and an official Money in the Bank bout was locked in.

Rollins was beaten by Kevin Owens at the Show of Shows last month, but he has an opportunity to make an instant comeback against the WWE Champion.

Sure, it may be an opportunity. But does Rollins really stand a chance? If you’re looking for a short answer, then I’d have to say no.

Rollins has suffered a series of disappointing defeats of late and has gone downhill over the past few months. This is not a good time for him to be facing the in-form McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins Prediction and Pick

This is set to be a high-quality match between two popular figures of WWE, so it’s a real shame that there won’t be a live audience to give these two fighters the reception they deserve.

However, regardless of the circumstances, McIntyre is destined to retain his WWE Championship at Money in the Bank.

Don’t get me wrong, Rollins will provide a stern test for the reigning champion. But there’s no way that the Scottish Psychopath will be ready to give up his belt at the moment.

McIntyre has given everything to battle his way to the top, so this should be a straightforward victory for the Scot.

Granted, he is the bookies’ clear favorite, and the odds are very low. But there can only be one outcome in this bout, so you’d be foolish to bet against him.
