Dignitas vs. Orgless Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 1st – Flashpoint Season 1

The inaugural edition of the CS:GO competition Flashpoint Season 1 has produced many exciting matches in the past couple of weeks and it’s time for more action from Phase 2 on Wednesday, April 1^st.

I believe that Dignitas had the potential to go far in Flashpoint Season 1 but the team’s chances were hurt by hallzerk’s visa problems. The young Norwegian was replaced by GuardiaN and while he had his moments so far, the squad is not as strong.

We saw that clearly in the defeat against Gen.G a couple of days ago when Dignitas stayed close on both maps but lacked that cutting edge in the decisive moments.

The rest of the team is doing the best it can to make up for the lack of their rising star, but I don’t think it would be enough against the top teams on the esports scene. While Orgless is not among the best out there, it’s still a dangerous opponent.           

I think that Orgless is certainly one of the teams that were satisfied by the results from Phase 1 of Flashpoint. The team reached the second place in Group C and earned 50 points. A victory here would guarantee another 30 and this should be enough to qualify for the playoffs.

That would be a strong confidence booster for this new team. Orgless already faced Dignitas twice in this competition, losing the first match and winning the second.

Both encounters reached a third map, but I believe that it was Orgless that adapted better after the opening exchange and that’s a good sign for Wednesday’s meeting.

I must admit I’m torn between two options for my Dignitas vs. Orgless pick. The over 2.5 maps outcome seems like an excellent choice based on the last two matches between the teams.

On the other hand, I’m not sure that Dignitas should be the favorite here. It’s a close clash that could go either way, so the price of +110 for Orgless is too high, in my opinion. You can find it at Betway, but the other top CS:GO betting sites have similar odds.

This market just edges the -112 available for over 2.5 maps in terms of value, so that’s what I’m going with.
