CSGO BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 – Is Na’Vi Unstoppable?

The next big CSGO tournament starts this week! Some of the best teams in the world will meet in the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 in the pursuit of their cut of $450,000 and a spot in the World Final 2021.
The big question here is whether anyone can beat Na’Vi. The team looks unstoppable right now, but there are squads with enough quality to at least give them a good fight.
I explore all contenders in my BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 betting preview that features the latest odds and my thoughts on all quarterfinals. Before we get there, let’s take a look at the key facts about the CSGO competition.
BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 Key Info
The BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 are going to start on Wednesday, November 24, and finish on Sunday, November 28. This is a LAN tournament that will be hosted by the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The following eight teams will participate.
Team | Qualified Through |
Team Vitality | BLAST Premier Fall Groups |
Ninjas in Pyjamas | BLAST Premier Fall Groups |
Natus Vincere | BLAST Premier Fall Groups |
Astralis | BLAST Premier Fall Groups |
BIG | BLAST Premier Fall Groups |
FaZe Clan | BLAST Premier Fall Groups |
Heroic | BLAST Premier Fall Showdown |
Team Liquid | BLAST Premier Fall Showdown |
The organizations will fight for their share of $450,000 and points for the BLAST Premier Leaderboard. Here’s how the prizes are distributed.
Position | Prize Money | BLAST Points |
1st | $225,000 | 4,000 + World Final Seed |
2nd | $85,000 | 2,000 |
3rd | $40,000 | 1,500 |
4th | $25,000 | 1,000 |
5-6th | $15,000 | 500 |
7-8th | $10,000 | 250 |
The format of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 is fairly simple and includes a double-elimination bracket. The Upper Bracket features quarterfinals, semifinals, and a final.
Each team that loses is sent to the Lower Bracket that includes four rounds. The winners of the two brackets meet each other in the Grand Final.
All matches are in the best-of-three format and they will be broadcasted for free by the BLAST Premier Twitch channel.
We know the pairs for the first round of the CSGO tournament, so let’s take a look at the different matchups.
Na’Vi vs. BIG Preview
Many believe that this should be the most one-sided match in the opening round of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021. Na’Vi’s performance in the PGL Major Stockholm was phenomenal and s1mple finally grabbed his first CSGO Major.
The team even won the final without losing a map!
The year as a whole has been fantastic for the CIS powerhouse with many other trophies earned. The chemistry is on another level and Na’Vi’s confidence is exceptional too. The squad is strong on pretty much every map, so more victories and titles should be on the way.
Beating BIG in the first clash of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals should be relatively easy. The Germans started 2021 well, but their results in the second half of the year have been far from impressive.
They just signed a new coach that should help in the long run. I’m not sure he could much for this particular tournament with so little time, though.
- My Prediction: Na’Vi to Progress
Heroic vs. FaZe Clan Preview
I’ve been very impressed by Heroic recently and I can’t way to find out if they can keep the tempo. The team reached the last 4 of both the PGL Major Stockholm and the ESL Pro League Season 14 recently.
On both occasions, Heroic was very close to the title, so this is one of the best CSGO squads in the world right now. I expect a strong start in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 too.
The team’s confidence is off the charts right now, as you can by CadiaN’s recent statement that Heroic is the only side that can beat Na’Vi.
I’m not 100% sure that’s true, but winning the first match certainly is likely. FaZe Clan’s recent performances have been inconsistent, so playing against a team like Heroic won’t be easy.
This one could be over in two maps even unless the underdog somehow improves dramatically for the CSGO Blast Premier Fall Finals 2021.
- My Prediction: Heroic to Progress
Team Vitality vs. Team Liquid
That’s another matchup with a clear favorite. Team Vitality has enjoyed a strong year so far and if it wasn’t for Na’Vi in several key moments, the French organization probably would’ve won a trophy or two.
Even the match in the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 was pretty close, as you can see from the highlights below.
Vitality has the quality and cohesion to beat pretty much anyone. I’m pretty sure Team Liquid will find that out the hard way on Wednesday. The entire year has been shaky for the organization, so facing such a tough opponent doesn’t look good.
- My Prediction: Team Vitality to Progress
NiP vs. Astralis Preview
Astralis will be hoping that the upcoming match against Ninjas in Pyjamas doesn’t go as bad as the last one. NiP won by 16-1 at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 which was the Danes’ heaviest defeat in a while.
They will have to find a way to improve and it’s interesting to see if the potential home support can help. Let’s not forget that the CSGO BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 are going to take place in Copenhagen.
The local crowd’s support should provide a strong boost for Astralis. It’s still hard to imagine that the squad can have a deep run, but it should be at least competitive. A hard-fought victory for NiP makes the most sense in this one.
- My Prediction: NiP to Progress
BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 Winner Odds
The latest winner odds for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 tell you everything you need to know about the CSGO competitive scene right now.
Na’Vi is the team to beat at this moment and there are two or three squads that can stop the Ukrainians. On top of that, the double-elimination format of the tournament means that the big favorite has to lose twice to get eliminated unless the first defeat is in the final.
It’s hard to go against Na’Vi in this scenario, but I believe the betting odds are simply too low. The likes of Vitality and Heroic could cause trouble, so I would abstain from backing Natus Vincere at such prices.
