Complexity vs. Vitality Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 25th – ESL One: Road to Rio

Complexity vs. Vitality Betting Preview

One of the more interesting ties in today’s CS:GO program is the clash between Complexity Gaming and Team Vitaly in Group A of the ESL One European qualifiers.

Both teams lost their first-round fixtures but looked good in long stretches of these games. A win here can kickstart a good run for each of these two organizations and I’m eager to get my hands on the betting odds.

This Complexity vs. Vitality betting preview for today kicks off with the betting prices for the matchup and I then share an account of how these teams have been faring lately.

My final prediction for the game comes in the end and there is also a free betting pick.

Complexity vs. Vitality Odds

The odds below are taken from SportsBetting. I present the three main markets but the bookmaker also has some props and specials on offer, so be sure to check out their sportsbook if you’re interested in other alternatives.

Here’s how things stand at the moment:

Match Winner

Complexity -108
Vitality -118

Map Advantage

Complexity (+1.5) -345
Complexity (-1.5) +267
Vitality (+1.5) -370
Vitality (-1.5) +251

Total Maps Played

Under 2.5 -110
Over 2.5 -103

Vitality is given a tiny, tiny advantage here which is no surprise since the team has had some positive performances lately. Complexity may be lower in the rankings but can still be a big threat on their day, though, so let’s see what separates these teams and try to pick the best betting option.

Complexity Gaming

Complexity is still battling their way into the elite CS:GO bracket and are currently sitting in 23rd place. They did lose their opening ESL One: Road to Rio fixture but put on a solid display against one of the big favorites Astralis.

The thing to note is that the team managed to win on the Danes’ preferred map Nuke. It was especially impressive as they completely fell apart on Vertigo in the first round.

Players blameF and k0nfig are the ones to wach out for and if the team wants to clinch the win here, they will have to produce another top performance.

Team Vitality

I had a sense that Vitality will experience problems in their tie against NiP on Wednesday. The Ninjas have been a thorn in the sight of the Frenchmen for a long time and despite winning the first round, Vitality lost on both Nuke and Inferno.

It was a misstep but they still have everything to play for and the outstanding performance of ZywOo will give them hope they can turn things around quickly here.

The top marksman finished with a +23 kill/death ratio but will need some support from his teammates who were largely disappointing against NiP.

Complexity vs. Vitality Prediction and Betting Pick

Vitality’s performance in their opening fixture will give hope to Complexity Gaming here but I doubt that ZywOo and company will have such an uncomfortable time today.

The Ninjas are a highly-tactical team and this is not something Complexity excels in. They still boast good quality on the roster but I expect other members of the Vitality team will be able to come up with the good today alongside their top man.

If that happens, the favorite should clinch an easy win here but Complexity’s superior record on key maps like Dust II, Nuke, and Inferno gives me pause.

I still think Vitality will edge this but it might come in the third round, so the safest bet would be to back them with the outright winner market.
