Chinandega’s players have to somehow pick themselves up after the humiliating thrashing at the hands of Walter Ferretti on matchday 12 and hope that more points can be won over the next few weeks.

Chinandega might not have expected much from its game against Walter Ferretti, but the 7-0 thrashing it received will have surprised everyone. Nicaraguan Primera League games don’t normally have many goals to celebrate, so there will not have been many who went for the total goals bet in such a way.

If the morale is low in the Chinandega changing room, that defeat could spell the end of its Clausura playoff challenge. It wasn’t looking too good before that game, to be honest, but now the players might not have anything left to give.
