The Celebrities Rooting for Biden in the 2020 Presidential Election
It should come as no surprise to learn of the legion of supporters rooting for Joe Biden to win the 2020 presidential election.
Hollywood, in particular, seems to be overwhelmingly behind Biden’s efforts to push the Democrats back into the Oval Office. The old stereotype of the left-leaning actor seems to be as true now as it has ever been.
So, can Biden count on the support of the most popular, high profile celebrities in the world today? Well, judging by the following list of celebrities that support Bdien, I don’t think he will be losing any sleep on that front.
Let’s start the ball rolling with a genuine Hollywood A-lister in Leonardo DiCaprio.
Star of blockbusters such as The Wolf of Wallstreet and Gangs of New York, DiCaprio holds a lot of sway in the entertainment industry. As such, he could be responsible for sweeping a fair amount of votes Biden’s way.
DiCaprio has appeared at Biden rallies, which is not surprising in the slightest. The actor claims to have always been a Democrat, and previously supported the Obama administration (of which Biden was vice-president).
Taylor Swift has thrown her support behind Biden ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

Swift avoided the disclosure of her political views in 2016, but she has been nothing short of transparent this time around.
Having used Instagram to show off her Biden/Harris cookies, the pop star also contributed to an article with V magazine in which she explains why she is voting Democrat.
Just in case there was any doubt left about her intentions, she made it 100% clear where her vote will be going this year.
We know what Taylor Swift was baking, but can we smell what the Rock is cookin’?
Alright. That was awful, and I sincerely apologize to anyone that had to read it. But hey, I’m sure Dwaine Johnson won’t mind putting his rock-solid support behind Biden ahead of… OK. No more atrocious puns. Ever.
I digress. Johnson has been very outspoken in his support of the Democrat charge and even went as far as to interview Biden and Harris back in September.
Like Swift, Johnson didn’t endorse either party back in 2016. His endorsing of Biden’s campaign is the first of his career, despite claiming that he has voted for both the Republicans and Democrats in the past.
Eilish gave an unenergetic account of Trump “destroying our country” while endorsing Joe Biden for president in a video recorded at the Democratic National Convention in August 2020.
The young pop star pleads with voters to get behind Biden’s vision for the US and talks about how Trump’s politics are leading to a collapse in what she believes are the most important societal structures.
I think it’s fair to say who Eilish will be voting for in this year’s presidential election.
The 74-year-old former pop star headlined an LGBTQ+ fundraiser for Biden that helped rake in around $2 million in donations.
Cher has also been a very vocal supporter of the Democrat nominee and even went as far as to explain how she “fell in love at first speech” the first time she heard Biden address a crowd.
Did she say it in Auto-Tune?
If the star of iconic yet weird 80s blockbuster Big is voting for Biden, that’s gonna make you think. Well, until you remember that Hanks also starred in The Da Vinci Code, that is.
But even “TDVC” won’t put off the fans of Hanks that are going to be swayed by his support for Joe Biden. Absolutely no chance. After all, Hanks has never hidden from his disdain for Trump or support for the Democrats.
The actor and his wife, Rita Wilson, were heavy donors to the Kamala Harris presidential campaign in 2019.
Sirius Radio “shock jock” Howard Stern is certainly another celebrity that will endorse Joe Biden like his life depends on it.
Stern has claimed to be “all-in” for Biden and admitted that he would vote for a wall in his studio before voting for Trump. If that wasn’t enough, the controversial radio personality also recommended that Trump supporters “drink bleach and die,” which is, well, that’s Stern for you, I guess.
Either way, Trump won’t have the support of Howard in 2020. I don’t think he ever did, but that is beside the point.

Well, if his fans from the late 90s/early 2000s are still in two minds of whether to vote for Biden, Justin Timberlake is hoping that his nostalgic topless shot will be enough to stay their votes.
I’m not going to give my opinion on these kinds of shenanigans, but all is fair in love and war, right? Well, let’s hope that this is a one-off, and Tom Hanks or, God help us, Cher, don’t decide to go down the same route.
Anyway, Timberlake had this to say in the accompanying text to that image.
Sorry folks, Jennifer Lopez is keeping her racy photos from the early 2000s to herself.
She has gone down the more traditional route of endorsing a candidate by appearing on video with her husband in a chat with Biden and his wife. It looked very cozy, of course, but there were no cookies this time.

Marie Claire’s October cover star, Chrissy Teigen, used the opportunity to speak with the publication about why she is endorsing Biden for president.
Well, it’s safe to say Teigen is not voting for Trump.
