The Dota 2 BTS Pro Series tournament is nearing the end of its group stage. Today’s schedule will see another two matchups and here I focus on the clash between business associates and FURIA.

The Brazilian organization doesn’t have a lot to play for, while the Americans have every chance of catching the playoff upper bracket.

No suprises here. FURIA hasn’t been able to take off at all in this tournament and their current situation showcases this perfectly. Their opponents have shown much better form and will be pumped up to secure a place in the group’s top 4.

The team may have looked down and out but whoever has been following their matches closely, knew that they have the potential to improve on their position.

They did lose to Quincy Crew and CR4ZY but so did everyone else.

Yesterday’s win against Thunder Predator was a big statement and now the Americans are comfortably sitting in 4th position and a win today will be enough to send them to the upper bracket.

The guys are still some way off from the real elite but have shown good signs and will be a tough opponent in the later stages.

The Brazilians are glued to the bottom of the standings and they lost their chance of advancing to the playoffs a long time ago.

If it wasn’t for beastcoast’s woeful form, they would’ve been the worst team in the tournament but at least they got to win one round so far.

The pressure is off for FURIA but I’m not convinced they can produce even when the stakes are not high. Furthermore, they will be meeting a team that is flying right now and looking to secure good seeding in the playoffs.

Even though FURIA is ranked higher than their opponents, the Americans are the better team on every metric you can think of right now.

Their inspired win against Thunder Predator will get them even more pumped up and I just can’t see how their performance will drop.

The Brazilians haven’t been a match for any of the teams and will probably get a win tomorrow when they face the other outsider beastcoast but I doubt today will be their day.

They have won only one round so far and their opponent will come out all guns blazing. A 2:0 win for the business associates is on the cards here and the maps handicap market provides great value for backing the favorite.
