Betting Update for Week 8 of The Masked Singer Season 4

The Masked Singer Season 4 Betting Update - Week 8

Season four of The Masked Singer is moving steadily along, with episode seven sending another fan favorite home.

More on that in a bit. The nice thing is we can bet on who wins this show, and some entertainment betting websites might even allow props dealing with identity reveals.

I’ll stick with the concrete stuff, though, and that brings me back to this week 8 betting update for season four of The Masked Singer.

We are just three weeks away from the semifinals, where the “Super Six” will duke it out in a race to the finale. Right now, we’re staring down the Group B Finals, which arrive next week on November 18th.

Before we get there, let’s take a look at updated The Masked Singer odds, the latest news, and what bettors need to know moving forward.

The Masked Singer Season 4 Odds

There aren’t any live odds for who will win season 4 of The Masked Singer at this time. The second they pop up, we’ll be sure to update the odds going into week eight.

We know that Sun entered season four as the favorite, and she’s done nothing so far in this competition to make you sad if you ended up betting on her to win.

Once the latest odds come out, we’ll offer more analysis on the top favorites, sleepers, and more. For now, let’s dive into what went down in week seven, and what’s coming next.

You can check for the latest odds yourself, at any the sites we recommend for betting on The Masked Singer.

The Snow Owls Got Eliminated

One of the first questions after each episode is who got eliminated from The Masked Singer? This time, it was the Snow Owls.

And here’s their big reveal.

Yes, country music legend Clint Black and his wife, Lisa Hartman Black, were revealed as the fan favorite duo. It was the first-ever duo to compete together on The Masked Singer, so at least they made history.

I thought they were pretty good, but they weren’t going to send Sun home, and they competed in the same Group as her last week.

They were at risk along with Popcorn, but in the end, they were the ones to see their bubble, well, get popped.

Episode 7 Top Performances

We only saw three singers take the stage, and Sun only needed one try to convince everyone that she was destined to advance to the next round of the competition.

Her epic take on Janis Joplin hit “Piece of My Heart” arguably stole the show and was the best performance on The Masked Singer in episode seven.

That was certainly an effort worthy of getting a ticket punched into the next round, but I’d be lying if I said the other two contestants didn’t make things difficult on the judges.

The Sun Owls were still pretty good even though they got eliminated, and Popcorn twice impressed.

Her rendition of Bryan Adams’ “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” is what got her to the next round, but I actually thought her upbeat take on Jessie J’s “Domino” was the second-best performance of the night.

Who Will Get Eliminated Next?

A pretty good reason for the best entertaining betting sites delaying the release of The Masked Singer odds? The field for the semifinals isn’t set yet.

Next week, we’re only onto the Group B Finals, which if following the same structure as last week’s episode, means two singers will advance, and one will be sent home.

Should any The Masked Singer betting sites offer props dealing with who will get eliminated next, you’re looking at Crocodile, Seahorse, Serpent, and Whatchamacallit.

I’ve already singled Crocodile out as a very versatile performer, and I don’t think he’s going home anytime soon. I’m also pretty high on Seahorse, who sounded like a professional when she took on Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)”.

That likely brings us to Serpent or Whatchamacallit being eliminated next. Okay, I’m kidding, as it’s incredibly easy to see that Whatchamacallit is the least talented singer in this group.

Does he put on a good show, bring energy, and own the stage? Sure, but it’d be a pretty big gaffe to see any of these other acts sent home. The real trouble, of course, is if we have a double elimination.

Summary

It’s probably best to take things one step at a time when it comes to betting on The Masked Singer season 4.

As things stand, it’s tough to project things too far ahead, and we won’t really have a firm grasp of who can (or can’t) win this thing until we reach the semifinals.

There should be some entertainment betting sites out there that allow you to bet on who gets eliminated next, however. If so, you have my pick going into week eight.

If you also want to bet on the winner this early, I tentatively favor Sun. I think we’ve got one of the best crops of talent for this show yet, though, so it could be a very tight race to the bitter end.

As we get through these Group finals, things will pick up, and betting on The Masked Singer will be a lot more interesting. For other entertainment betting posts to sink your teeth into, hit the links below.
