Matt Jones will be looking to repeat his Honda Classic title from last year, while tons of other golfers are going to be looking to win themselves. Joaquin Niemann was the winner of the Genesis Invitational last week and is a top competitor coming into the Honda Classic.

Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger will be looking to win in their home state as well.

Berger’s best finish this season was 5th (tied) in the Sentry Tournament of Champions in early January. Koepka finished tied for 3rd just 2 weeks ago at the WM Phoenix Open. Both golfers will be looking to get their first win of the PGA Tour in the 2021-22 season.

Let’s check out the massive list of golfers set to face off for this week’s Honda Classic Event.

Where to Bet on the 2022 Honda Classic

The best golf betting sites will be your location for everything you need for the Honda Classic. There aren’t a ton of superstars in this year’s field, but there are still a bunch of great golfers to bet on.

There is also a ton of value that comes with the lack of superstars. That could mean a huge payout is in store if you have a good feeling about a certain golfer.

This is the first Florida tournament of the 2022 year, so a change of scenery should spice things up for this year’s PGA tour.

Honda Classic Odds for 2022

The 2022 Honda Classic odds are fairly tight, and there isn’t a clear leader. For now, the tentative favorite is Sungjae Im, but his +1200 odds don’t exactly guarantee a win.

Daniel Berger is next up at +1600, and as you go further down the line, the betting value gets considerably more intense.

With such a large pool of golfers for this event, the odds for each individual golfer are very profitable. If you can correctly pick the winner of the event, you should consider yourself a winner as well.

There are some other bets you can place that aren’t as risky as the winner of the event. You can also bet on who makes or misses the cut, gets Top 5 to 20, the first-round leader, or even individual matchups.

Top Golfers for the Honda Classic in 2022

Just because there is a massive list of golfers for this event, doesn’t mean that there aren’t some top golfers who can win it this year. We have a lot of talented golfers in this list despite not having a ton of superstars.

With the large pool and incredible odds being offered, you could bet on a couple of top guys and still make profit if just one of them wins.

Here are some of the top options for the 2022 Honda Classic.

Sungjae Im (+1200)

Sungjae Im is the favorite to win the 2022 Honda Classic, but he has some pretty long odds. There are a whopping 144 golfers set to compete in the classic, which means a very profitable field to bet on.

Im has already won one event in the PGA Tour this season, being the Shriners Children’s Open back in October of 2021. He also has reached 6th and 8th in the Farmers Insurance Open and Sentry Tournament of Champions respectively.

He also has 4 top 10 finishes on the year and his FedEx Cup Rank is 5th. He tied for 8th in the last Honda Classic, but will he be able to win it this year?

Nick Sterling has him as one of the best betting picks for the 2022 Honda Classic.

Daniel Berger (+1600)

The Florida native has the second most favored odds to win the Honda Classic in 2022. He has participated in the Honda Classic for 6 straight seasons, placing as high as second back in 2015. His success on this course hasn’t stopped there, as he placed 4th in 2020.

He placed 29th or lower in his other 4 outings, but overall, he has been pretty solid. He might be able to seal the deal this time around.

His best finish this season was 5th in the Sentry Tournament of Champions back in early January.

With his career success on this course, he finds himself as one of the top options to bet on for the Honda Classic.

Brooks Koepka (+2000)

Brooks Koepka

Another Florida native who is at the top of the odds list is Brooks Koepka. Koepka actually had his best finish just two events ago in the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He tied for 3rd place and could build off that performance in the Honda Classic.

He might be at his best right now, but he has struggled this season. He hasn’t placed in the top 25 outside of the WM Phoenix Open. His next two best finishes were 28th and 38th in the Sentry Tournament of Champions and The CJ Cup at Summit respectively.

He has had success throughout his career in the Honda Classic. Koepka will be participating in his 7th Honda Classic. He didn’t make the cut in 2020, but he finished in 2nd place in the 2016 event.

With his previous success on this course and coming off a solid performance in his last event, he could be a nice option this year.

Matt Jones (+5000)

Matt Jones

Matt Jones has the 14th best odds to defend his Honda Classic title. His best finish this year was in the Sentry Tournament of Champions, where he finished 3rd.

That has been his only top 10 finish on the year but winning last year’s Honda Classic can give him a solid chance to win.

His other finishes this year have been 15th, 18th, 27th, 38th, and 58th.

Jones has 8 Honda Classic events under his belt. Obviously, his best finish was last year in first, but he also has finished 4th and 18th in the past.

He could have a decent chance to repeat this year and has very profitable odds to do so.

Betting on the 2022 Honda Classic

The 2022 Honda Classic will be played on the PGA National in the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The course infamously has the “Bear Trap” which is a very tough 3-hole stretch that can make or break some golfers’ day.

The total course is par 70 at 7,048 yards, ranking as the third toughest venue last year. This will be a nice challenge for these golfers, as it will bring out the best in them. Betting on this can be tricky, but the odds could mean for a major payday at the end of it.

There are many golfers to consider and lots of different bets you can place. Make sure you also check out the DFS picks for this event as well.
