Betting Analysis of the Final Four in Big Brother 23 – Who Will Win?
We have reached the final four for Big Brother 23. Xavier Prather, Kyland Young, Derek Frazier, and Azah Awasum remain in contention for the $750,000 grand prize.
All four players have a chance to take the crown but one houseguest has established himself or herself as the favorite.
Who is that houseguest? Let’s check out the odds and break down the remaining players. If you need a little extra help, be sure to check out our Big Brother betting guide.
Odds for Who Will Win Big Brother 23
Big Brother fans know Xavier Prather is the big favorite to win this season. Truthfully, I think this is a great opportunity to hammer this bet. I can’t believe his odds aren’t lower.
Kyland Young feels like the only realistic challenger, but Prather is the favorite for a reason.
Fans can find the odds and place their bets at Bovada.
Analyzing the Remaining Contestants
We know who the remaining houseguests are and where their odds stand. Let’s discuss why each player will and will not win.
Xavier Prather (-250)
Following the eviction of Tiffany Mitchell and Hannah Chaddha, Xavier Prather becomes the big favorite to win Big Brother 23.
Everyone viewed Prather as a big competition threat but he downplayed it all summer by throwing multiple competitions. He has been on the block multiple times but he has never been in danger of leaving because of “The Cookout.”
Prather will win this game because everyone knows he has played the best game.
Basically, the entire jury has repeated that sentiment. They have acknowledged that they will vote for him if he is sitting in the final two.
The final three will consist of a three-part head of household competition. Prather will likely match up against two people who have won a combined one competition this season.
If Kyland Young goes this week, Prather will likely compete against two people that will take each other to the final two. However, it’s a longshot that either player will win part three of the final head of household competition.
I’d bet big on Prather to win Big Brother 23.
Kyland Young (+200)
Coming into this week, I thought Kyland Young was the one person that could upset Xavier Prather.
Prather receives all the attention as a competition threat, but Young is right up in competition wins.
- 3 head of households
- 2 power of vetoes
Three of those wins came in the last two weeks. He essentially won his way from the final six to the final four. Young even established a final two deal with Prather. Unfortunately, it sounds like that deal wasn’t mutual.
When Prather won the final four head of household, he nominated Young. Young will likely remain on the block after Prather won the power of veto.
If Young wants a chance at winning, he needs to somehow convince Prather to use the veto on him.
Then, he would have to win the final three head of household and take Derek Frazier to the final two. That’s the only person I think he wins against.
Young won’t win this game because he likely won’t make it past this week.
He had a good run but when it mattered most, he couldn’t win a competition. Frazier will likely cast the sole vote to evict him this week.
I would avoid betting on Young.
Derek Frazier (+800)
To put it nicely, Derek Frazier hasn’t done much this summer. The main reason he has made it this far is because he was a member of The Cookout alliance.
People know they can evict him at any time because he can’t win a competition. There have been over 25 competitions this season in Big Brother and Frazier hasn’t won one.
Truthfully, he hasn’t been close to winning any.
If he makes it to the final two, what argument does he have for winning the game? I can’t think of one. That’s exactly why Prather wants to take him to the final two.
Why won’t Frazier win this game? Because he hasn’t done anything.
There is more to Big Brother than competition wins, but I haven’t seen Frazier do much other than lay around all day. No one is going to reward him the win over someone that actually played the game.
The odds may be tempting but just avoid betting on him.
Azah Awasum (+1000)
Azah Awasum is probably our best chance to see a surprise winner.
Awasum is in a very similar spot to Derek Frazier. She hasn’t done much this season and is still in the game because she was in The Cookout.
Last week, she won her first head of household competition. Unfortunately, she made a poor move and targeted Hannah Chaddha.
The move was very odd because Chaddha would’ve taken her to the final two. It’s possible Awasum didn’t know that, but she missed a golden opportunity to take out Xavier Prather.
It’s usually a mental competition, so maybe she finds a way to outsmart Prather.
She won’t win this game if Prather is in the final two.
We know Prather has a ton of support in the jury. Awasum is a likable houseguest but they are voting for the player who played the best game.
I’d definitely throw down a few dollars on this bet. If she wins part three of the final head of household competition, she likely wins the game.
Advice for Betting on Season 23
At this point in the game, we have a pretty good idea of everyone’s final two chances and who the jury is leaning towards voting for.
Kyland Young is all but gone this week, so there’s no point in betting on him.
The best way to approach this bet is to go with the players who have the best chance to win competitions.
Let’s check out each houseguest’s competition wins.
- Xavier Prather: 5 wins
- Azah Awasum: 1 win
- Derek Frazier: 0 wins
Part one of the final head of household competition will likely be an endurance competition. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember and I don’t see that changing.
Prather has been slightly better than Awasum in that category with Frazier having no chance. The winner automatically moves to part three.
Then, it’s all about which players have the best case to win the game. Prather has a much better case than Awasum or Frazier. The jury recognizes his gameplay and would like to reward him.
It’s hard with the other two because they haven’t made a huge impact on this game. However, one of them will win if they sit next to each other in the final two.
Everyone wants to know who will win Big Brother 23, but it isn’t the only thing you can bet on. Let’s check out the other two bets you can wager on.
Other Ways to Bet on Big Brother Season 23
The best way to bet on Big Brother 23 is undeniably deciding who will win. That’s where the best value resides, but there are two other props you can find at the best entertainment betting sites.
The favored options aren’t great options for bettors due to their alarming odds, but could there be merit in betting against them? Let’s look at both props to find out.
Odds for Favorite Houseguest
The race for favorite houseguests may be more exciting than the winner of Big Brother 23.
Derek Xiao is the big favorite (-1600). He was always a fan favorite inside the house and fans were devastated when Xiao went home in week 7. This is their opportunity to reward their favorite houseguest.
Up until last week, I would’ve said Xiao had this bet locked up. However, we’re seeing two players make a run.
- Tiffany Mitchell (+1800)
- Hannah Chaddha (+2200)
Mitchell created The Cookout and the master plan that allowed all six of their members to reach the final six. Because of that, a lot of people wanted to win this game. Unfortunately, she was the first member of The Cookout to leave the house.
Chaddha is such a likable person who loves playing this game. You could see how upset the 21-year-old was when they evicted her at the final five. Fans love her passion for the game and a lot of people were hoping she and Mitchell would be in the final two.
Right now, I think Xiao is still the favorite. However, it’s close enough that I would avoid betting on him in favor of Mitchell and Chaddha. They present much better value.
Odds for Gender of Winner
When it comes down to the gender of the winner, it’s really a battle of two players.
Right now, there are three males and one female in the house. That’s probably why the males (-5000) are a big favorite over the females (+1000).
Prather has the advantage because he would beat anyone in the final two. He is also the biggest competition threat. His five competition wins are much higher than Awasum’s one. That’ll give him the upper hand if the two battle in part three of the final head of household competition.
As much as I believe a male will win this game, I can’t endorse this bet. The odds are just way too high for my liking. I know it’s not likely but there is a realistic chance Awasum wins the game.
I wouldn’t fault you for betting on females but I would just go ahead and avoid this prop altogether. You can bet on Awasum individually for the same odds.
There’s just not enough value here for my liking.
Predicting Who Will Win Big Brother 23
I think we’ve concluded that Xavier Prather is the best bet here.
He has the best chance to win competitions and will win if he makes the final two. Right now, I believe he presents tremendous value. I’d jump all over that before the odds move.
As long as Azah Awasum has long odds, I’d be willing to bet a few dollars on her.
Those are the only two players I can see winning this game. Just do yourself a favor and avoid betting on Kyland Young and Derek Frazier.
