Best New High-Limit Slot Games Online in 2020

Best New High-Limit Slot Games Online in 2020

Are you a high roller who appreciates top-notch high-limit online slots? Then you know that it’s not easy to find very many games that top a 100.00 maximum bet.

That’s not to say they’re not out there in the virtual gambling world, though. So, I’ve been combing through my files of all of the new 2020 online slot releases. I’ve narrowed my list to the ones that allow for the highest stakes.

I’ve selected the best of the best, meaning the games that go beyond the basics with exclusive features, creative themes, and unique gameplay.

You’ll find that the five best new high-limit online slots in 2020 let you bet anywhere from 750.00 to 3,000.00 a spin, depending on the game you choose. There’s a revamp of a 90s video game, a tour of Italy, and an homage to a beloved 1980s film.

While all of the slots have exciting payout potential, I’ve also included a new release from the Age of the Gods’ progressive jackpot series. Its Ultimate Jackpot has closed in on the seven-figure mark and, the more you bet, the higher your chances of playing for the top award, so 2,000 per game should give you an edge.

Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Slot

I’m going to come out swinging with a slot that lets you bet as much as 1,000.00 every time you enter a new round of the competition.

Gamers can be gamblers, as is evident by this NetEnt high-limit online slot based on a 90s video game. Of course, recreational gamblers are welcome as well. There’s a starting bet of 0.20 if you want to wager more conservatively.

Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Slot is a cluster pay game set on a 5 x 5 grid. The goal is to become the World Warrior Champion by defeating opponents in the main game, moving onto the Beat the Boss round, and then emerging triumphantly. When you become the ultimate victor, extra cash rewards head your way.

You’ll particularly appreciate this particular slot if you’re part of the classic video game crowd. It’s got a design that resembles decades past. You’ll even get to smash a car if you’re defeated in the base game, as the Car Smashing Bonus Round is a consolation prize.

A 1,000.00 per spin bet puts you in contention for a hefty purse in this fight for slot supremacy.

Loony Blox

I have two Habanero Games’ titles on my list of the best new high-limit online slots in 2020 because this particular developer is all about the full range of bets.

Loony Blox is lighthearted and cartoonish, but it’s got some serious cash potential. If you’re looking for high-stakes, you can’t get much better than 2,500.00 a pop. That’s a big stretch from the 0.25 minimum, but it’s a ten-level structure, so there are all kinds of possibilities.

As far as the gameplay, you’ve got three pieces to the Loony Blox puzzle.

  • Character features
  • Map features
  • Free games

In the base game, the cute little hosts, like the bunny, take turns being in charge. They have different enhancements that accompany them, like win both ways.

Whenever you get a character win on the screen, the board moves and takes you to the map, where you’ll embark on a journey for other prizes. The map features and free games play out like a board game. To me, the slot bonus board is reminiscent of Candyland.

If you’re not convinced to give Loony Blox a try, how about factoring in 243 ways to win, as well as a relatively high 98.02% RTP?

Ghostbusters Plus

Who ya gonna call for a 750.00 per spin spot?

Before I get into the high-limit gaming of IGT’s Ghostbusters Plus, let me ask you a few questions.

  • What year was the original Ghostbusters released?
  • What is the name of the new Ghostbusters film slated for a 2020-21 release?
  • Can you name the original Ghostbusters?

Ghostbusters Plus is a high-limit online slot homage to the original film with Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson. The characters circle the reels, and you’ll make good use of equipment like proton packs and ecto goggles on your quest to capture the ghosts.

There’s so much to this 20 payline game that it plays out like a movie. Ghost battles lead to ghost wilds, which can take on a variety of oversized shapes as well as multipliers up to X25. Capture ghosts to level-up, and look for the logo in five-of-a-kind formation for a 1,000-credit reward.

Even though Ghostbusters Plus has 20 lines, it requires 25-credit stakes per game. With a maximum per-credit wager of $30, that gets you to $750 every time you go ghost hunting.

By the way, were you able to answer the three questions?

  • Ghostbusters was released in 1984.
  • The new release is called Ghostbusters Afterlife.
  • The three original Ghostbusters are Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz, and Egon Spangler, and then Winston Zeddemore joined the team.

Age of the Gods: Mighty Midas

When it comes to Playtech’s latest addition to its Age of the Gods progressive jackpot series, Mighty Midas, I’m not crazy about the design.

Compared to many other real money online slots, the visuals fall flat, and some exciting music to accompany the gameplay would be helpful. That’s my only criticism, though.

Mighty Midas fits the bill in all other accounts, including its high-limit betting that can be as much as 2,000.00 per spin for 40 paylines of slot gold.

Wild Midas Touch

What I especially like about this version is the smart way that the golden Midas Touch is implemented. When the golden hand appears on-screen, it points to the left. The symbol it’s aiming at then turns into a golden wild, plus every other instance of that same image becomes wild.

Things are even more valuable if Midas points at a wild, as it’ll convert to an X2 Golden Wild. Again, all of the other standard wild symbols follow suit.

Golden Bonuses

There are two other bonus elements to the Age of the Gods: Mighty Midas. The first, of course, is the opportunity to play for significant prizes in the AOTG progressive jackpot game. The higher you bet, the greater your chances of getting the call. So, if you’re staking 2,000.00 every time you set the reels into motion, you could be golden.

A second bonus is game-specific. It’s the Fortune Wheel bonus. A scatter wheel that shows up on both the first and fifth reels simultaneously gets you a turn. You’ll end up playing one of five bonus rounds. A few are wild-driven. Then, there are two multiplier versions, along with the fifth that clones Midas’ hand because two hands are better than one.

Scopa is the second new high-limit online slot on my list by Habanero Games. I couldn’t resist, though, as it comes in first when it comes to the per-game wagering.

While Scopa could be on the list of low-limit slots with a 0.15 starting bet, the number can go up to 3,000.00!

You’ll find that Scopa is a rather unusual game both in what you can see and what you can’t. It’s an Italian-inspired slot, and you’ll take a train tour of the country starting in Genoa and heading to various exciting destinations like Venice, Tuscany, and Naples. Features depend on your current location.

Although you can see the countryside in the background, the game screen is also eye-catching. All of the symbols are placed on playing cards. The game board looks like a solo card game. There are three on the top and bottom rows and five cards in the middle.

What makes this game even more unusual is that the reels are horizontal, so all images roll in from the right side of the screen.

The 0.15 to 3,000.00 stakes cover 27 ways to win on the unusual configuration. Features like multiplier wilds and expanding symbols enhance your Italian holiday.

You can also go all-in with a Scopa payment that’s worth X25 your total bet. That award automatically generates whenever you fill the 11-card board with the same face.

A Few More High-Limit Online Slots

While the five slots that I’ve chosen to highlight fit the bill for high-limit gaming, I came across a few more on my search that I thought I’d pass along as well.

Dragon Spark

  • Betting Range: 0.20 to 500.00
  • Paylines/Winning Ways: 3,125 to 16,807

  • Feature highlights: Activation zone, wild transformations, walking wilds

Gun Spinner

  • Slot Developer: Booming Games

Jaguar Princess

  • Slot Developer: High 5 Games

Egyptian Emeralds

  • Slot Developer: Playtech
  • Betting Range: 0.10 to 500.00

As far as I can tell, 0.20 to 100.00 is the average betting range for most online games. However, some hidden gems still let you satisfy your high rolling preferences.

For the most feature-rich gaming, I would recommend Ghostbusters Plus or Loony Blox. If you’re a fan of classic video games, then you can’t pass on Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Slot. Mighty Midas puts you in contention for four Age of the Gods progressive jackpots, and Scopa is your tour guide for an Italian gaming tour.

These games and others are available at the best high-roller online casinos.
