Best Kawhi Leonard Prop Bets for the NBA Restart – APG and More
We can debate who the best player in the NBA is today, but one thing is for certain — Kawhi Leonard is going to be a fixture in that conversation.
Between Kawhi’s ability to take over a game on both ends of the floor and his killer instinct in crunch time, this dude is a serious force to be reckoned with. The Clippers will be depending on their superstar to carry the load in Orlando, which brings us to the following Kawhi Leonard props for the NBA restart.
If you want to bet on how many points, rebounds, or assists the “Klaw” will average per game in Disney World, step right up to the plate.

Kawhi Leonard Scoring Prop
If you take away the nine-game “lost season” with the Spurs in 2017/2018, all Kawhi has done since being drafted in 2011 is improve his scoring year after year. From 26.6 PPG last year in Toronto to 26.9 PPG this season with the Clips, Leonard can score in all phases. Aside from being a reliable outside threat and a tremendous finisher at the bucket, Kawhi is one of the few NBA players who still wear out the mid-range game.
There’s no question he can put up 30+ a night, but I’m not sure that is the clearest path for the Clippers winning an NBA title in 2020. Leonard can rely on big-time scorers like Paul George and Lou Williams, not to mention Montrezl Harrell has really come into his own (18.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG). The enviable supporting cast is a huge reason we’ve seen Kawhi’s assists/game average rocket up to 5.0 in 2019/2020.

Kawhi Leonard Rebounding Prop
As an SDSU alum, I had the pleasure of watching Kawhi Leonard up close and personal during his freshman year on Montezuma Mesa. The thing that stood out was his knack for finding the ball as soon as it came off the glass and making hay with easy buckets around the rim.
His prowess on the offensive end has certainly come a long way, enabling him to no longer just rely on prowling in the post to get his name in the box score. Doc Rivers lets guys like Ivica Zubac and Montrezl Harrell do most of the dirty work down low — the same work Kawhi was responsible for during his time at San Diego State.
Here’s the thing, though.
I suspect when push comes to shove, Rivers will employ a “small-ball” lineup. That’ll put an onus on Kawhi to crash the glass on the defensive end. Keep in mind, Leonard’s 7.3 RPG this season leads the Clippers squad.

Kawhi Leonard Assists Prop
If Paul George was slated to miss any time, I’d be in favor of backing the over in this Kawhi Leonard prop. However, a fully loaded Clippers roster means Kawhi won’t have to have the ball in his hands all the time on every possession.
PG13 is going to handle the rock quite a bit, as will Lou Williams and Patrick Beverly. True, the two-time NBA Finals MVP is averaging 5.0 assists per game this season, but I had a closer look at LA’s recent game logs and did some digging.
I found that Kawhi tallied just 2.8 APG in March, and he’s gone 11 straight games without surpassing 5 assists in a game. He has recorded exactly 5 assists 5 different times during that stretch, but don’t expect Leonard to be utilized as a ball-distributor when play picks back up.
Look for Kawhi to dominate in just about every other facet imaginable.

Betting Kawhi Leonard Prop Bet
Not one to get caught up in stats, all the former Aztec cares about is winning basketball games.
"I don't play hero basketball. I'm not playing for fans. I'm just playing to win. I'm not out here trying to break records.”— Ballislife.com (@Ballislife) June 8, 2020
1 year ago today, the Raptors took a 3-1 lead in the Finals behind Kawhi’s 36 PTS (17 in the 3rd), 12 REB, 4 STL, 5 3PT
NBA enthusiasts and online bettors might care about the individual numbers Kawhi puts up, but I can assure you Leonard pays little attention.
One of the main reasons I pegged the “under” in his scoring prop was simply because of the way Doc Rivers manages games. We could see Kawhi sit out a handful of fourth quarters if and when the Clippers have a game already in hand, and that’d be the right thing to do.
If you think there’s too much ambiguity surrounding the Kawhi Leonard prop bets, perhaps betting on Luka Doncic or Zion Williamson is more in your wheelhouse.
