Best Esports Picks for Sunday

The end of the week brings us a couple of more exciting tournaments in CS:GO, League of Legends, and Dota 2. That opens the door to various betting opportunities and I’m sure many of you will be looking for the best esports bets for today.

My list of esports betting tips for Sunday is designed to help you with that. I share my top picks for a few matches, as well as the reasoning for each.

HAVU vs. MIBR over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: Flashpoint Season 1
  • Starting time: 1 pm Pacific Time
  • Odds: +104
  • Where to bet: BetOnline

The first of my best esports picks today is for this clash of the inaugural season of Flashpoint. Both HAVU and MIBR have been impressive so far and will be confident in their chances to progress further in the tournament.

I’m not sure that any of the teams will have the upper hand in the upcoming encounter, so I decided to go for over 2.5 maps instead. My complete HAVU vs. MIBR betting preview provides more information on the match.

Evil Geniuses to Beat Beastcoast

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: BTS Pro Series Americas
  • Starting time: 1 pm Pacific Time
  • Odds: -167
  • Where to bet: Betway

Many of the matches in the BTS Pro Series Americas so far have been close, but I think this one will be an exception. Evil Geniuses are the better team and displayed some good stuff against Thunder Predator. I don’t think that Beastcoast can compete with such an opponent.

I was tempted to for the handicap too, but -167 is more than enough to back the Geniuses to simply win this one.

FlyQuest to Beat Team SoloMid

  • Game: League of Legends
  • Tournament: LCS 2020 Spring, Playoffs
  • Starting time: 1 pm Pacific Time
  • Odds: +166
  • Where to bet: SportsBetting.ag

While I understand why Team SoloMid is the favorite here, I believe that FlyQuest certainly has a chance to upset the odds. The team was solid during the regular season and completely crushed GG in the first round of the playoffs.

The price of +166 just doesn’t sound right and I explain why in more detail in my extended TSM vs. FlyQuest prediction.

More Esports Betting Tips for Sunday, April 12th

  • mousesports to beat Fnatic (-1.5) -123
  • MAD Lions vs. Cloud9 over 2.5 -106
  • Team Liquid (-2.5) vs. Evil Geniuses +140

I have a couple of more esports picks for today, starting with the ESL Pro League Europe Final. It’s going to be an epic clash between mousesports and Fnatic today, but I believe that mouz have more momentum and experience in such matches, so I’m backing them to win it.

Another CS:GO is worth your attention. I believe that Cloud9 will push MAD Lions to the limit today and the Flashpoint Season 1 clash between those two won’t end after two maps. You can get a price of -106 for three maps or so in most places which is excellent value, in my opinion.

And finally, I have the final between Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses. Considering the history of both sides and how they have performed so far in the ESL Pro League NA, I think that a clean victory for Liquid is the most likely option.
