Best Esports Picks for Friday, April 10th

The esports week continues on Friday with plenty of cool tournaments in popular games. My best esports bets today are focused on CS:GO and Dota 2, including tournaments like ESL Pro League, ESL One Los Angeles, and more.

As always, I provide not only betting tips and picks but the latest odds and my thoughts on every match that I’ve included.

HAVU (-1.5) vs. Chaos

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: Flashpoint season 1
  • Starting time: 10 am Pacific Time
  • Odds: +104
  • Where to bet: BetOnline

The first of my free esports picks for today is all about momentum. HAVU had some problems in the first phase of Flashpoint Season 1 but improved dramatically in the second. The team won its group and that was enough for the third seed in the playoffs.

Chaos’ trajectory was the opposite, as the squad failed to impress in the second phase and struggled to find any consistency whatsoever. That leads me to believe that the favorite will earn a clean win here. For more on that match, check out the HAVU vs. Chaos betting preview of my colleague Elias Wagner.

Gambit to Beat HellRaisers

  • Game: Dota 2
  • Tournament: ESL One Los Angeles, EU & CIS
  • Starting time: 9 am Pacific Time
  • Odds: -154
  • Where to bet: Betway

Group A of ESL One Los Angeles, EU and CIS will bring us a lot of quality Dota 2 matches today. The one I like the most from a betting perspective is between Gambit and HellRaisers. Both teams have been inconsistent so far and need a victory here.

I believe that Gambit will be the one to achieve it because the squad has become better with every game so far. My detailed HellRaisers vs. Gambit prediction provides more info on the clash.

Team Liquid vs. Evil Geniuses Over 2.5

  • Game: CS:GO
  • Tournament: ESL Pro League Season 11, NA
  • Starting time: 1 pm Pacific Time
  • Odds: +102
  • Where to bet:

The big guns will fight each other in the Upper Bracket Final of ESL Pro League Season 11, North America. I don’t think any of the teams has displayed enough to believe that a clean victory is possible, so over 2.5 maps is certainly among the best esports picks for today.

Let’s not forget how close and dramatic the encounter between Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses in the group stage was. I believe we will see something similar on Friday.

More Esports Tips for Friday, April 10th

  • OG (-1.5) vs. Cyber Legacy -118
  • Nordavind vs. Syman over 2.5 +102
  • MIBR (-1.5) vs. Orgless +109

The rest of my esports bests bets for Friday start with another Dota 2 clash. I don’t think that Cyber Legacy can compete with giants like OG right now and the favorite should be able to win without losing a game in this one.

Next in line is the match between Nordavind and Syman for the CS:GO Cyber Cup. Both teams have performed on a similar level so far and have an identical record. I honestly don’t see how this one will be decided quickly, so over the 2.5 maps wager is an excellent choice.

The last of my top esports picks is for MIBR to beat Orgless without losing a map. I know that the Brazilians have been far from their best, but the next opponent is hardly a challenge and represents a great opportunity to restore some confidence
