Best Apex Legends YouTube Channels You Should Subscribe to in 2020

Since its explosive popularity at release, Apex Legends has managed to secure a small, cult-like following in the esports space with its unique set of gameplay mechanics and expertly crafted storyline. Many YouTube channels emerged in the wake of high-profile gamers like Ninja, DrDisrespect, Shroud, and more trying out Respawn Entertainment’s new esport, but it can be hard to tell which of these YouTube channels are worth your time.

To help you with your search, I’ve created a list of five of the best Apex Legends YouTube channels you should subscribe to in 2020 for frequent, quality-driven videos.

1. Aceu

Aceu, NRG’s premier Apex Legends player, is one of the most consistent Apex Legends content creators out there. He’s recently shown interest in Riot Games’ newest esport VALORANT, but he’s been staying true to his roots and still frequents the game that put his name on the map.

As would be expected of any professional Apex Legends player, Aceu plays the esport as few others can. He primarily plays Wraith as his character of choice, which opens his gameplay up to as many people as possible since Wraith is one of the most frequently picked characters in Apex Legends. Additionally, he is a great learning tool for anyone who is trying to become one of the best and learn what they can do to enhance their gameplay. The way he masterfully moves around during Wraith’s Into the Void ability to fake out enemy players and get positioning on them is a sight to behold and is sure to show you how you can better make use of Wraith.

2. Zylbrad

Zylbrad is a bit of a uniquity in the YouTube space, having moved from a completely non-competitive game like Sea of Thieves to the highly competitive esports of Apex Legends and Overwatch. However, with his shift in game-of-choice, he brought his upbeat personality and is continuing to create entertaining content that even non-players of Apex Legends can enjoy.

Whether Zylbrad is trying to get some last-minute matches in before changes come to the game or he has entertaining run-ins with other “Apex Legends streamers,” you can rest assured he’s recording at all times and ready to make his whimsical interactions into a high-quality video for all of his viewers to enjoy.

3. iTemp Plays

iTemp Plays has been creating video game YouTube videos for years and seems to have found Apex Legends as a mainstay for his content. What’s even better is just how frequently he uploads! iTemp Plays has a video being published almost every day on his YouTube channel, which is great for anybody who is looking for an Apex Legends YouTuber with some consistency under their belt.

What makes it worth subscribing to iTemp Plays is not only that he’s consistent but that he’s extremely good at the game and plays on console. Computer and console gameplay for Apex Legends can differ greatly, so for Apex Legends players on console, iTemp Plays is a must watch to see what it’s like to have Apex Predator skills while playing with a controller.

In Season 4 of Apex Legends, he managed to climb to Apex Predator rank by himself in solo-queue, and his goal is to do the same this season. Go check out his YouTube channel and join him on his journey to see if he can once again climb to the top!

4. Top Apex Plays

Top Apex Plays is a compilation YouTube channel which, as the channel name suggests, focuses on Apex Legends. The channel takes viewer submissions of clips that showcase skillful plays and hilarious moments, stitching them all together into daily videos that are usually about ten minutes in length. For many of the channel’s videos, you don’t need to be an Apex Legends player to appreciate the humor within them, and it’s also great to see the Apex Legends community coming together to share all of their favorite clips in one central place that not only gives them a lot of attention but helps promote the overall visibility of the esport on YouTube.

In a world where Apex Legends has to compete with the likes of Fortnite, every little bit of social media presence helps.

5. Raynday Gaming

Raynday Gaming is an Apex Legends YouTuber whose videos often take the form of voice-overs. He covers a lot of different things in Apex Legends like how-tos, top lists, upcoming changes, new events, and more. He’s a great source for anything that’s related to Apex Legends, especially when it comes to keeping players updated on the game’s direction.

It’s great seeing a YouTuber put a lot of effort into each of their videos, which Raynday Gaming clearly does. Everything from his voice-overs to his edits is meticulously crafted to get his point across in the clearest way possible. It’s also obvious that his time at Hi-Rez Studios rubbed off on him, as the production quality of his content only increased since his time there where he did esports commentary and video creation.

He typically publishes videos a few times a week, so he’s worth checking out and subscribing to for the sheer quantity and quality of content he’s able to create all on his own.
