Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg Betting Preview With Pick – Bundesliga, June 20

Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg Bundesliga June 20

Bayern has now been crowned Bundesliga champion for the eighth year running, but it is Freiburg who still has everything to play for.

The Black Forest club can still qualify for the Europa League and is only a point behind Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim. My Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg prediction and betting pick is below.

Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg Odds

Bayern Munich to Win-400
The Draw+520
Freiburg to Win+825

Bayern has now won the league again, so there could be the possibility of the players taking it easy in the two remaining games. BetOnline obviously doesn’t seem to think that will affect the result here, but the odds for a draw bet might interest the more adventurous.

Match Preview for Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg

It had been coming since at least the first day the Bundesliga resumed play, but Bayern has won the league again and is fully deserving of the title. Another Robert Lewandowski goal was all it took in the game with Werder Bremen to win the points and the accolades.

The one negative from the day is that Alphonso Davies was sent off and will miss this game with Freiburg. He collected a second yellow card in the second half but will be replaced by Lucas Hernandez for this fixture, so Freiburg should not be getting too excited.

The visitors will be going all out for the win, though. There is now a three-way race for two of the Europa League places, and Freiburg is a point behind its rivals. Schalke at home on the last day of the season should mean at least three points coming in, but another draw, at least, will probably be needed.

After the success of the first few months of the season, it is something of a shame that Freiburg still finds itself as an outsider for European qualification. But if Bayern does take it easy on Saturday, Christian Streich’s side will be ready to take advantage. It just depends on whether they get that chance.

Prediction and Pick

Best Bet
  • Bayern Munich to Win

Although the race for the league title this year seemed to be much closer than previous seasons, Bayern will still end up winning by around ten points and is still head and shoulders ahead of the competition. Even accounting for a slightly off day, I also think Hansi Flick’s men will be winning another three points this weekend.
