Bayern Munich might finish this game as Bundesliga champions if Dortmund is unable to come away from Dusseldorf without a victory earlier in the day.
The Bavarians are virtually assured of an eighth straight title in reality due to its lead at the top of the table, but this looks like being the game of the weekend and could throw up a few surprises.

It is difficult to find a game where Bayern isn’t the favorite to win, no matter where it is being played. Hansi Flick’s side has looked just about unbeatable in the second half of the season and definitely since the restart. The odds for a draw here are a little tempting, but there is so much talent in the Bayern squad that it is hard not to back the champions.
Bayern let some of the other German clubs dream earlier in the campaign but has been in formidable form over the last month and showed, once again, at the weekend that there is still a big gap between it and even some of its closest rivals in the Bundesliga.
The 4-2 win away at Bayer Leverkusen was just the latest masterclass put on by Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, and the rest of the squad. There is so much talent throughout the team that it doesn’t seem to matter when a player is injured as there is an equally good replacement just waiting for his chance to shine.
Monchengladbach is the club this week that will be trying to work out how to get past the Bayern defense while making sure that nothing is happening at the other end. Leverkusen may have been able to score two last weekend but also conceded four. Bayern has already scored four or more three times since the Bundesliga returned last month.
Monchengladbach’s results in that time have been nowhere near as good and evaporated any hope of challenging at the top. Champions League qualification is still possible, though, so there should be some fight shown here. The three fixtures after this look much more straightforward, though, so maybe manager Marco Rose will not be too concerned with a defeat to Bayern.
Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Monchengladbach Pick
Bayern Munich to Win
Borussia Monchengladbach is now 14 points behind Bayern Munich but might as well be in a different division considering the gulf in class between the two. Marco Rose’s side is very good, and Marcus Thuram has looked particularly impressive, but I can’t see it being able to cope with the attacking threat that comes from just about everywhere in the Bayern team.
