Astralis vs. mousesports Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 11th – ESL Pro League Season 11, Europe
A highly-entertaining Stage of the European ESL Pro League has reached its conclusion but we still have two huge games to bet on.
Fnatic have already booked their place in the grand final so they will be closely following the tie between Astralis and mousesports taking place today.
The Danes completely obliterated chrisj and his team just a few days ago and will now be looking to seal the deal again and advance to the title decider.
My Astralis vs. mouseports betting preview for Saturday, April 11 takes a look at the odds for the matchup. I then lay out my analysis of both teams and offer a free betting pick in the end.
Astralis vs. mousesports Odds
The odds below are courtesy of BetOnline. Here are the main betting markets that they have on offer:
After their incredible recent performance against mousesports, it’s hardly a surprise that Astralis come into this tie as the huge favorite. Will The Mouz be able to mount a decent challenge this time around?
Let’s move on to my overview of the teams and try to predict how this one will go down.
What can we say about the Danish organization except for a big “Bravo!”. They lost both their opening fixtures in Phase 2 of the tournament but staged an incredible comeback to clinch 2nd place and advance to today’s decider match.
Magisk, device and captain gla1ve improved their form tremendously in the last few days and it immediately showed. The team won all three of their remaining Stage 2 games with a 2:0 scoreline.
Things were close in some of those rounds but they completely removed any about of their elite status by pounding mousesports 16:3, 16:1.
And if that’s a sign of what’s to come today, The Mouz is in big trouble.
Captain chrisj and his teammates will definitely feel down after losing the group’s top spot to Fnatic. They started Stage 2 brilliantly, racking up three wins on the trot including a 2:0 sweep of world leaders Natus Vincere.
They looked good value to close things out on Wednesday but Golden and his Fnatic team had other ideas. The Swedes played their best game against The Mouz and left them hanging after dominant performances on both Inferno and Nuke.
Then came the Astralis bashing and the team only made the playoff bracket because of its win against NaVi earlier.
They will now have to overcome the Danes’ huge psychological advantage and try to at least compete, which is always a tough task when gla1ve and his teammates are rolling like that.
Astralis vs. mousesports Prediction and Pick
No wonder that all the top CS:GO betting sites are leaning heavily towards Astralis. The bashing they handed mousesports earlier in the week is not something we usually see at this level.
The Danes will probably edge this one as well but I don’t think we will see the same scenario. The Mouz have had ample time to reflect on their performance and prior to that defeat, they have arguably been the best team in the tournament.
Captain chrisj and players ropz and frozen still boast some of the best numbers in the ESL Pro League and I they can make a big difference on their day.
Astralis has been a relentless force lately but we also have to take into account the fact that they played on a lot of their favorite maps.
I think it’s time for both teams to contest a third-round match after going through three consecutive 2:0 ties. The Mouz still holds an advantage of a couple of maps and they will be pumped up to make amends after their blowout loss.
The odds of +116 are great and there’s no way I can miss out on them, so that will be my final pick here.
