Astralis vs. Fnatic Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 6th – ESL Pro League Season 11, Europe

The CS:GO elite continues its quest of winning the Season 11 title of the coveted ESL Pro League. The tournament has already entered Phase 2 and today’s matches provide another round of exciting betting opportunities.

Probably the most highly-anticipated clash is that of Astralis and Fnatic. It’s always a bloody affair between these two Scandinavian organizations and their upcoming matchup promises to be no different.

There you have it. Astralis comes in as the favorite, but 5th-ranked Fnatic are on the up and will definitely fance their chances here. Can they upset the odds? Let’s look at the teams’ form and the key stats and try to find out.

Phase 1 cemented Astralis as the biggest favorite to win the tournament. The Danes lost only one game and romped past Team Vitality, GODSENT, ENCE, and Team Spirit.

However, Phase 2 started with a loss against Natus Vincere. The Ukrainians were heavily beaten on Inferno in the first round but bounced back to clinch the next two maps in impressive fashion.

Things are always tight when Astralis plays NaVi, so it was definitely worrying to see the Danes win only 18 rounds on Dust II and Train.

Overall, it was the team’s worst game in a long while and they will hope that they can improve against their old foe Fnatic.

Captain device and Xy9px have been among the best players in the tournament, but Magisk and gla1ve will need to pick it up a notch now that the schedule will be getting tougher.

Unlike their opponents, the Swedish outfit kicked off Phase 2 with a solid win against FaZe. They were well beaten on Mirage in the first round, but captain KRIMZ and JW lifted them in the remaining legs and the team recorded two impressive wins on Overpass and Inferno.

Fnatic has also been one of the positive organization in the tournaments. They have lost only two games since the start and boast the best kill count in the event.

They come into the tie as underdogs but are historically one of the teams that can unlock Astralis and this upcoming tie promises to be a spectacle once again.

Astralis’ form in the tournament makes them the favorite but I would not be quick to dismiss Fnatic’s chances. The Swedes have an identical record in the tournament so far and their performances on Dust II, Mirage and Inferno have been better.

Astralis has won 2:0 in their last three meetings with Fnatic, but the overall head-to-head stats are really close. I think it’s time for Fnatic to put a fight here.

They have been playing better teams, while Astralis’ schedule has not been as tough and they immediately lost when they faced a real elite outfit in NaVi.

These teams have been involved in a lot of three-round ties lately and I expect this one will follow the trend. The odds for the Over market are great and cover a win for both wins, which is great when the underdog is in with a good chance.

So, that would be my final pick here.
