2020 NASCAR Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Betting – Odds, Prediction, and Pick (June 7)

The 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 was initially scheduled for March 15 but was postponed just days before it was set to run. The race now goes ahead this Sunday, June 7, from the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia.
The odds for NASCAR’s latest Cup Series race are available on our recommended NASCAR betting sites, and I have included some of these odds below. Seven drivers come into the race with odds of +1000 or less, and one, in particular, has caught my eye.
I’ll be giving you my pick to win the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, as well as identifying a few guys with decent odds who could crack the top three. In last week’s Food City 500 preview, two top 3 betting picks finished in the top three, with one of them winning the race. This week, I’m hoping to give you more successful picks to consider.
Anyway, I’ll kick this NASCAR Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 betting preview off with the odds, and I’ll explain my thoughts for this race.
2020 NASCAR Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Odds
The odd below are taken from the MyBookie sportsbook. You can find a full list of drivers and their odds on the site.
Kevin Harvick (+500) is the favorite for the rescheduled race in Atlanta this Sunday, and his stats here point towards a solid race for the Californian.
Although he only has two wins from 29 starts, Harvick has led at least 100 laps or more from his last six starts. Harvick has 12 top tens from his last 15 starts on this track and should be there or thereabouts on Sunday evening.
Kyle Busch (+600) is another driver with a storied history at Atlanta but just two wins to show from it.
Busch will be aiming for something better than the sixth-place finish he registered in 2019. A 3rd-place finish in 2016 was the best return from his last five starts, while his last win here came back in September 2013.
Chase Elliott (+600) sits third on the NASCAR Cup Series leader board and can push even further up that table with a win at Atlanta.
The youngster has just four starts under his belt here, with three top tens and one top-five not bad by any means. If Elliott wins, it would be just his eighth Cup Series career win. His last victory came at the 2020 Alsco Uniforms 500 last Thursday.
Brad Keselowski (+700) deserves his place among the favorites for this race.
A winner here in 2019 and 2017, Keselowski even managed a second-place finish back in 2018. Of all the drivers who find themselves with short Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500 betting odds, Keselowski looks the most obvious pick.
But Alex Bowman (+800) also seems to be catching the attention of punters ahead of Sunday’s big race.
But Bowman has never looked stellar on this track. In four starts here, Bowman’s best return was 2019’s 15th-place finish. Fifth on the Cup Series leader board, the Hendricks Motorsports star will need a big return in Atlanta to maintain his strong position.
Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Top 3 Betting
In my 2020 NASCAR Food City 500 preview, I picked Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski, and Jimmie Johnson to finish in the top three.
Keselowski won the race, while Johnson finished third. Unfortunately for Blaney, a crash at Stage 2 meant he could not finish. Still, two successful bets from three.
This week, I’m backing the following three drivers (with odds of +1600 or more) to finish third or better at Atlanta.
- Jimmie Johnson (+1600)
- Kurt Busch (+1800)
- Clint Bowyer (+2500)
Who Wins the 2020 Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500?
-
Brad Keselowski+700
I picked Keselowski to win the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 in March, just days before the race was postponed. And I see absolutely no reason to change my mind ahead of Sunday’s rescheduled event.
Keselowski’s two wins, four top-fives, and seven top tens make him a driver with proven aptitude on the old surface at Atlanta’s famous oval.
More than this, Keselowski has the momentum heading into this race, having stormed to victory in both the Food City 500 last weekend and the Coca-Cola 600 the Sunday prior. He is in hot form and will hardly be dreading the race at one of his favorite tracks.
I’m a little surprised that Keselowski’s odds to win the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 are as good as +700. I can see this price shrinking the closer we get to the race, however, so if you are going to back him, it might be better to do it sooner rather than later.
Who Are You Backing?
If not Brad Keselowski, who do you see winning the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 this Sunday at Atlanta?
There are a few drivers who will be confident, for sure. The likes of Kevin Harvick — who has led for an astonishing 1197 laps from his 29 career starts at this track — will be popular with punters. And those looking for bigger odds might look towards Jimmie Johnson or Clint Bowyer.
While on the subject of bigger odds, I’ll be taking a look at the best value bets and sleepers ahead of Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. So keep your eyes on our NASCAR blog for that.
