One of the Upper Bracket Round 1 playoff games is scheduled for today in the North American division of the CS_SUMMIT event.
100 Thieves will be taking on Team Liquid after both teams had a highly successful group stage.
The organizations know each other very well but The Thieves haven’t been able to unlock Stewie2k’s team in recent outings.
Is it time for the tables to turn today?
In my 100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid betting preview for Tuesday, I try to help you out with the betting angle by previewing the latest odds and detailing the squads’ recent form.

I start off my analysis section with a look at how The Thieves have recently fared.
They put on a couple of solid performances in their CS_SUMMIT group that helped them easily brush aside both Cloud9 and Chaos Esports.
The team should take credit for that but it’s also true that they had a way easier path to the Upper Bracket than Team Liquid.
The real test for the Australians starts today and if their recent games against the elite teams in the division are anything to go by, they might be in for a very uncomfortable outing today.
They haven’t been able to best any of FURIA, MIBR, EG, and Liquid recently and there were some heavy beatings in there in the latest CS:GO tournaments.
Players jks and jkaem will once again be key for their team but all eyes will be on captain AZR and whether he can improve on the somewhat chaotic tactics he regularly falls victim to.
Liquid clinched a spot in the playoffs by overcoming Brazilians outfits MIBR and FURIA.
The impressive bit was that both opponents didn’t even get close to contesting Stewie2k and his squad.
MIBR was outplayed on both Overpass and Inferno with Liquid controlling proceeding throughout the entire series.
The win against FURIA was even more encouraging as the Americans limited them to single digits on the Brazilians’ pick Vertigo and then handed them another pummeling on Nuke.
The loss against Evil Geniuses didn’t allow them to top the group but I feel EliGE, NAF and most importantly Stewie2k, learned a valuable lesson and were able to bounce back quickly.
The organization looks hungrier than ever and their head-to-head record against 100 Thieves will give them a lot of confidence coming into today’s matchup.
100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid Prediction and Pick
The Thieves can be quite dangerous if they start off well and they have the resources to steamroll over opponents as we’ve seen in the recent encounters with Cloud9 and Chaos.
However, the more experienced teams are proving much harder to unlock as their tactical superiority pushes AZR and his teammates into making rash decisions when buying items and going on the offensive.
This usually leads to a lot of mistakes and I feel the pressure will once again be too much for the Australians.
Team Liquid knows how to work their opponents as they have beaten them 2:0 in the last five outings between them.
On top of all that, Stewie2k has grown very confident in his leadership ability and gunmen EliGE and NAF are among the top players on the North American scene right now.
I’m quite surprised to see odds of +158 for a clean sweep and I simply can’t pass on the opportunity to take advantage of the great betting value.
Team Liquid (-1.5)
This concludes my 100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid betting preview for June 30th but I have several more predictions for today over at my top esports picks post.
They all come with the latest betting prices and the reasoning behind my choices of markets.
